Accent Reduction: How Indian Speakers Can Master The American English Accent Like a Native Speaker.
Welcome to GB Voice Academy! Home of the Revolutionary, Groundbreaking Accent Reduction Technique called "SOUND MAP" that Is Taking the World By Storm! An accent reduction practice that WILL show instant results!
Welcome to my American English Pronunciation and Voice Coach RU-vid Channel! I’ve been teaching people just like you from all around the world how to speak American English with an American accent for over 15 years.
As an Award Winning Broadway Credited Voice, I always found it fascinating when my foreign students would be able to sing a standard American song with a perfect American English accent. Somehow singing completely eliminated their accent. Since that discovery, I have created a proven, groundbreaking, easy to understand, result oriented approach to reduce, and in some cases eliminate the foreign accent completely (don't worry, it doesn't involve you singing LOL!).
Welcome to the Accent Reduction Gym! The ONLY way we can learn how to master the American accent and sounds and rhythms is to retrain our tongue and soft palette muscles to create these American sounds and rhythms that your body is just not used to making. I will be providing you with specific exercises focusing on the sound and feel of specific American "Targeted" sounds and how they link to each and every consonant. In addition, I will share specific singing techniques to help create reliable muscle memory that you can call upon instantly. This technique has helped thousands of my accent reduction students master the American Accent and sound rhythms a lot faster.
By the end of this course you would have gone through every possible combination of sounds. There will be nothing you will come across that we haven't covered in your practice. Our goal is to make sure these improvements are retained, so you can call upon them when you need them. That will involve practicing on your end. If you commit to the practice exercises I provide in this course, you will master the American English sounds and rhythms much faster! Take the first step to propel your career to the next level!

I'm American and love language, and I thought this was a fantastic lesson. To you Indian speakers and others--I'm an engineer and worked with people from so many cultures. Thoughtful Americans will appreciate how hard it is to master English, and, even better, will appreciate the "flavor" of your accent.

I just wanted to shout out to the creator that this video was amazing. I think it's so important for accent trainers to not just be able to train you in an accent but understand yours. Many accent teachers don;t acknowledge that an accent for anywhere including amercia is an accent. That key understanding of the other accent has enabled you to come up with such an amazing course.

For me in particular it's the L sound the hardest. Like saying "Only", this short word takes a little longer to say in the indian accent also noticed the american accent flows better into each word, making things more efficient for your mouth in terms of work put in.

Great video. I am originally from Sri Lanka which is in the Indian subcontinent. Our dialect is different. My problem is not the issue of holding the tongue back and creating a different sound which is not compatible with American accent but the rhythm of my sentences, where to put emphasis and where to pause (occasionally the pronunciation.)( Even the British prounce the same word differently.) are the problems. Mind you, I lived in England for a while and acquired that accent but it has faded somewhat, after living here for more than 25 yrs. I wonder what you recommend people like us. Thank You.

For everyone learning American English and is confused with Soft Th and Hard Th words. I found out the trick. On google translate, words with hard Th have Th underlined. And Words with soft Th don't have underline under Th. I was so confused with those two kinds of words 😵‍💫😟. Finally found out the trick😮‍💨. Thank you myself for observing and hearing.😁 Happy Learning 😃😉

"THROUGH" is the toughest of'em all. I thought I'm 75% there, but I'm like 20% there to reach that shore of the accent. There's more of that to learn and the vocabulary and slangs of southern. I'm doing it just to watch the movies without subtitles. Idk why but Tom cruise's accent is best. I can hear him without subtitles.
