On April 14 1993, a McDonnel Douglas DC-10-30, registered N139AA, operating as American Airlines Flight 102 from Honolulu International Airport to Dallas Forth-Worth International Airport was landing on Runway 17R, when the pilot lost directional control of the aircraft, due to a heavy rain + "weathervane", sending the aircraft off the right side of the runway.
None of the 202 souls onboard perished.
At the time of the incident, the NTSB quotes
"At the time flight AA102 landed at DFW Airport, it was raining and there were numerous thunderstorms in the area. Shortly after touchdown on runway 17L, the pilot lost directional control when the airplane began to weathervane and the captain failed to use sufficient rudder control to regain the proper ground track. The airplane eventually departed the right side of the runway. At the time of landing the wind (a cross wind) was blowing at 15 knots with gusts approximately 5 knots above the steady wind speed."
As the aircraft lost directional control and weathervaned, it was sent off the right side of the runway, digging into deep mud, causing the nose landing gear to collapse, and the left engine & wing to be damaged.
The aircraft came to rest on an adjacent taxiway, steeply tilting to one side [left].
N139AA, the DC-10-30, was damaged beyond repair and was written off. American Airlines continues to use flight number 102 on the same route from Honolulu to DFW using a Boeing 787.

Once I find a event, I search for the audio on LiveATC.net, and compile it together.
I get a image of the flight path of the aircraft from Flightaware.com, or a video of the aircraft from PDX Aviation, under Creative Commons.
Once doing this, I put together a transcript of the ATC to Pilot communications, and add a description. These videos are not stolen, nor are they in copyright violation. I have been on RU-vid for three years, I know the rules by
