Fragrance is Inspired by Acqua di Parma Colonia Oud. Fragrance was released back in 2012
Main accords ,woody, citrus, oud, leather, aromatic,fresh, spicy, animalic, powdery, balsamic, smoky
It’s a very masculine Amber Woody fragrance for men, which is required for an homage to Bass Reeves, who was a legendary US Deputy Marshall in the notoriously lawless Indian territory in what is now Oklahoma.
Known for being one of the best and Oud Fragrances on the market, Fresh, elegant, clean, and citrusy oud with dominant bergamot.
Top notes are Calabrian bergamot and Italian Orange;
Mid notes are Agarwood (Oud), Amyris and Coriander;
Base notes are Leather, Atlas Cedar, Sandalwood, Musk and Indonesian Patchouli Leaf.

Nice impression. You're right, sometimes oud can get funky but can be magical if blended with other notes. Pete usually nails it, so this should be good.

I’m not typically a fan of overly complicated scents on my soaps/splashes, but you make this scent sound so good! I wonder how much is resembles full measure of man by B&M, which is one of my all time favorites. My wife hates that one too… 😅

My two times great-grandfather was a Marshall in the New Mexico/Arizona territory in the 1870's/80's. So I'm gonna have to buy it just for the story and label.

This was a really good review. I think Mike did a great job of talking about whether this is the right fragrance for you. I think of this as a great man cave fragrance. We felt that we had to go super masculine based on how much of a badass Bass Reeves was.
