For the money those American Bass Elite's seriously impressed me. Use to have 4 elite 12s on a MD8k in a focus hatchback and it got down. They handled the power great. I have a short video on my channel if you wanna see them in action.
I'm actually doing some AB right now, about to publish very soon, and another one tomorrow also. I love the AB brand of sub's, from the budget to the comp sub's they all perform nasty. Thanks for sharing and thank you for your comment.
@@SoooSandy of yeah the 15 inch. I would love to put that in a nice 3-4 cubic foot enclosure and send it 2,000 watt's. Must sound nut's. Thanks for your comment.
Love my Titans . For the price you just can't beat it. The XFL has a little higher RMS handling capabilities but last I checked cost twice as much as the Titan. 2 Titans will deliver more RMS power than the the price you pay for 1XFL. If you want to look at it $ per watt. Hands down quality sound on a budget 2 Titans wins but if you have unlimited amounts of cash, XFL has an upper hand. Also have to remember box limitations. It takes a deeper box to fit XFL. I had to build a custom box to fit the Titan under my backseat in my truck. XFL mounting depth and motor circumference simply won't fit in this application.
@@estudiante4wisdom149 they do pretty good 32hz seems to be the sweet spot for my setup. 4th gen Ram quad cab with a custom made ported enclosure under the backseat with a lift. Shakes my dash and sun visors have vibrated off the hangers a couple times🤣
funny, I was just thinking about them today. I'm going to make a short on them. I'm going to try to figure out a way to get the dyno in the short also. LoL, thanks.
@@SubzPawz I'll keep passing the word along I think u should get a list together of like 5 items and they don't have to be new items and let ppl chose from there or do the names in a hat and the items in another to keep everything random it will be alot of fun.
There are tons of options really, American Bass subs, the XFL would love that room to breathe in, the Rockville Punisher, Skar VXF or ZVX, there's so many to choose from
I like them all myself. If I was to have to choose 1 I think I would go with the Titan, everything about is top notch for the price and sound they produce. Thank you for your comment.
In your opinion which sub would you get between the PA MOFO'S OR GOTHICS, AMERICAN BASS TITANS. was looking at soundstream T5. But the PA and AB are more in my budget were I can get 2 instead of 1 T5 at the moment
The Titan for sure. It may even out perform the T5. For the price the Titan is one of the best subs you can put your money, 100%. You'll be happy you did. A lot of people do not like the steel basket, but everything else is up to par and perfect on that sub. I'm going to pull it back out in the next few days and do my burp test on it. You'll be very happy with the Titan, you can thank me later.
Hey. I recently got an American bass XFL, but it's not getting as low as I want. My box is currently tuned to 40hz and is 1.7 cubic feet. What recommendations would you make to get deeper bass? Thanks.
Get a box about double the size. 2.5-3 CF. Tuned lower maybe low 30's. You could buy poly fill at Walmart and add it to your box. Try 1 pound first see how it sounds. Then try another half a pound for a total of 1.5 pounds but no more than that or you could hurt your sub. Thanks for your question and comment 😊
@@bladehacker3179 I think CF is a big thing about sound. You definitely need enough room for the sub to breathe. Power is another factor for sure. Thanks for sharing and thank you for your comment 😊
@@SubzPawz I always free air break in my subs I do a 10- 50 htz sweep that's like 2 hours long it may play 25 htz for 5 minutes straight it's not the same exact sweep everytime it switches up might go from 10 htz then 32.5 htz down to 12 then up to 38 I did that with the gothic u have me a it loosened up the spiders and really plays low and has super. Extension . No matter what sub or power level it is it can only help to free air break in a sub like that and power wise if I hear the coil hitting the backplate or distorting ad I turn it down most subs I use around 350 RMS to free air with.
I did reinforce the whole box with extra cocking and screws. The back plate was actually touching the port wall. I didn't notice until I measured and pulled it out. The XFL needs a custom enclosure because the cutout is 11.5 inches which is much bigger than almost any sub on the market. Thanks for your comment 😊
All of the subs in this video have multiple magnets on their motors. I believe the smaller two have similar double large magnets. Thanks for your question and comment 😊
So I think you're talking about the SVR? The SVR is a good sub, I've tested everything Skar Audio makes. But comparing it to the American Bass is not really fair. I'm guessing your asking about the Elite also right. Did you see the Dyno videos on the Elite? That was my last giveaway sub. Very durable and much better part's and build. If you're questioning which to get the American Bass is the better choice. Thanks for your question and comment 😊
@@SubzPawz thank you so much brother I appreciate your time and your videos I’m a new subscriber thanks 🙏 for responding I will definitely get the American bass elite instead of svr
I've ran xfl and elite, efficiency is key to getting loud on a budget. I can get build a system with the elites that will get way louder than the xfl at a fraction of the price.
HeyEveryone I am running 1 12 XFL 1222 at 1ohms on a JC power r3200.1d one ch. Amplifier. And my box is tuned at 32 Hertz and my box is 2.75 with a port going up and down. And everyone's telling me it's harder than the 2 elites and Titans 😧 and also to I did The big 3 . And OFC copper wire . Plus 2 680 cranking amp battery. Is there anyone out there that can let me know if I need to add anything else so I can make sure. I'm getting all the power I need to push this amazing subwoofer 💪. it's a Beast 😮
you're probably good, the only thing I would do is just have 1 single strong battery, you will get better voltage from not having 2 batteries, actually 3 right? Do you have a battery isolator running?
@@SubzPawz my bad I have only one battery at 680 cranking amps and I did the 3 upgrade and also I have a 150 fuse inline I was texting too fast but that's what I have running my system but I know I need to run a bigger alternator 110 still looking for one but they are kind of pricey
I would look into a high output alternator to keep your voltage above 14 V so you're getting the most out of your amplifier also make sure you are using ofc wire cuz it can handle more power compared to cca having a battery isolator so you can keep your front battery for your car and having a back battery for your stereo XS power is the best unless you can afford lithium that's even better and you'll save weight
in parallel, plus to plus and minus to minus, + to + and - to -, if you wire the subs together same deal, + to + and - to - and to the amp. If you have any other questions or need help with anything let me know. Hope you subscribed and got in on my free giveaway for an American Bass Elite 1 inch subwoofer.
@@SubzPawz I got 2 American bass titan 10’s 4 ohms. I’m just trying to figure out the best way to wire them to my jbl club a600. But to get the 600 rms out this amp I have to be at 2 ohms. Would you recommend I run them at 2 ohms for 600 rms or run them at 4 ohms and 350 rms.
@@carlosuriarte2301 well your options with DVC 4 ohm subs are 2 ohms each and with 2 that will bring you down to 1 ohm, or run them at 8 ohms each and wire them to 4 ohms with the 2. I would wire them down to 1 ohm like I suggested already, with box rise you will probably hopefully sit around 2 ohms running. So +to +, - to -, and then the same thing with both speakers. 1 ohm.
@@SubzPawzokay so + to + and - to - on each sub. Then I run 1 positive and 1 negative off each sub to the amp. So I will only use 1 channel on my amp? Also what size speaker wire should I be using
@@carlosuriarte2301 I like 10 gauge myself, you'll probably have to order it if you get that, 12 gauge you can get at Walmart or most any store but no smaller than 12 gauge wire.. And yes, all your plus to plus and minus ti minus to amp.
I'm sure they can take a little more power. I did look back and I thought the clip light went off, it did not. But the sound I hear from the sub and box sounds like it's going to fall apart. I'm going to make the box stronger. I'm in the process of building my own enclosure also, that should be solid. Thanks for the comment.
That xfl will take 2k constant power RMS all day long they can do 3 to 4k burps pretty easy Parker had 2 md 12 k taramps on 6 of these. That's 4k RMS each
I'm going to take your word for it. I've had the VCW12 and still own the VCW10. I have I think 4 of their amps I still have now. Everything I've gotten from them I've been very happy with. Every piece of equipment has gone above and beyond expectations. I have looked at them several times, I've been tempted several times. But it's about the same sub as the V2 specs wise, with some cosmetic changes. Thanks for your comment. I have the videos in my library.
Yes it is! I have a set of the VCWv1s and V3s. Both are excellent IMO. The V3s are definitely built for more everything including more excursion and SPL. Better pole venting too.
@@wilsonrawlin8547 I might check it out someday. I like variety, my channel is full of hundreds of subs I've demoed. I love NVX, but it will be a while before I purchase one again.
I have seen the old Titan. I was curious why they changed it other than making it less money. It would be nice to put each of them up against each other. The XFL would take the cake but all around and affordable the Titan for sure. Thanks for the comments
