I'm running a single AB XFL1244 in a 2.52 cu ft box tuned at 32 hz @ 2 ohms on a Rockford Fosgate T1500 and I don't even have my new singer 250 amp h/o alt installed yet and it sounds great. I think when I get another ride I might have to get 2 of these but idk if I should go 12 or 15 inch.

bunky021543 that would depend on the size vehicle it's going in. I know my godfather suns require almost a 3 cube box so these have to be ridiculous. I love 12s but to move SERIOUS AIR I would get the 15.

I just got a new set of xfl subs in for a. Customer and they are MEAN. Huge surround, taller basket, slightly bigger motor. VERY nice refresh of the previous model

They have bigger motors, better softparts, and a higher power handling rating. The XMAS line was specifically designed for extreme low end bass setups. Which is why they have the thick rolled surround design. These signature series subs are 5K rms and the XMAS are 3K. @@jefferyglover4295 yes while the signatures do have a higher power rating and can definitely take more. The XMAX subs were specifically designed to play low and loud. The xmax subs have a peak to peak of 50mm which is alot higher than any other AB sub. Hope that answered your question and my apologies for the late reply.

Personally if I had the option and power to supply I would go with the SIGNATURE series just for the overall power handling. My brother actually just bought the XMAX 12's so we are in the process of the install now. The Xmax subs will get lower than any other AB sub available but only handle as much power as the Godfather series. That is what i see as their only drawback but for those who dont want or need 5-7 K subs they would be a great option. I can still get both of these subs. Your looking at around $450-$500 per sub for the XMAX and $750-$800 for the SIGNATURE line. @@runnitup6860 in my opinion they are light years beyond the HD version of american bas subs. I have the godfathers and they put me to shame whit how nasty they are. With the new basket design they are very musical now as well unlike the old vfl subs. You can truly play any genre of music you prefer. With proper electrical they can easily take over 5K daily no worries there. I'm putting 5.5K to my godfathers with no issues whatsoever. They do hit very hard but require ALOT of power to do so. @@Mr.NpK143 I understand, if you feel like there is better out there go with it bro. I personally feel like bang for the buck you cant touch AB but it's all subject to the individual. I beat the hell outta my godfathers daily with a AB 1100.1 @ 1OHM with no issues. You really cant go wrong with AB but I hope you find what your looking for. Make sure to post a vid of build after you decide. If you want to set the stage with these hit me up and I'll give you the best deal I can.

Those signature series subwoofer seem pretty stout, but I'd like to see if the really can handle a 1100.1 with proper voltage etc. If they can handle the power that they claim continuously then great, but if not they'll be a waist of time and money. I need to be able to run an 8k on the sub which is essentially what the 1100.1 is

@@Mr.NpK143 I cant tell you for sure if it can or can't since I have no 1st hand experience with it. All I can speak to is what I've owned so far which are the AB DX,XD,TNT,XFL,VFL, and godfathers. All have done at or above rated with no issues. The SIGNATUREs are rated at 5K, I see no reason whatsoever you cant run atleast that on ok electrical and 6k-7k on good electrical honestly.
