For the $90K luxury truck, it is hard to deny that the Ram meets the benchmark at this level. It's interior is unlike that of any other trim level; even the seat controls and door panels are exclusive. The interior materials and assembly are truly first-rate, as is the comfort. Then there are class-exclusive features such as the passenger screen, recline rear seating, and super hi-end Klipsch surround sound system. I respect the fact that Ford retained higher capacities for hauling and towing with the Platinun Plus Powerboost, in addition to the 7.2kW power supply. That is huge. And its fuel economy is really good and the best outside of the GM Duramax 3.0. But in terms of a combination of a luxury experience(power, comfort, and opulence), the Ram is a hit!(deleting the Ram Box in the bed would put the Ram at identical price with the Ford on top of that). Great review, brothers!
I'm just wondering how many people will actually buy these $90K trucks. I'd imagine it would be a better option to get an earlier model with good mileage that's almost half the price. I don't see the car market getting any better for sellers.
@@hellkitty1014 lol don’t be naive. Google them or better yet just go ask any mechanic. But the electrical issues, water leaks due to glass not being properly sealed, stalling, oil consumption….just to name a few.
Ram got a very, very, very comfortable backseat with a flat floor you can lay down and go to sleep on put a mattress back there and it looks beautiful back there
Ford is like the girl who's the prettiest girl in the room when she's the only girl in the room but take her to the mall and around others then she looks average.
Right quality of a ram truck is like a Mercedes-Benz how do I know I own a Mercedes-Benz and Cadillac and ram truck limited ram truck drives better than the Mercedes and Cadillac wow lol that’s why I bought the ram truck plus I like dual exhaust
They're both superior to the Toyota and the GM trucks foe sure, i think the Ford comes out victorious due to the fact that it still offers a V8 option.
Ram look better in the back ram look better in the front without looking ram got better interior. How do I know I own a 1500 2019 ram pick up truck limited I told you Ram got the best interior of any truck right now
My wife has a very nice powerful high output 3.5 liter V6 in a 2022 Ford Expedition. It’s not luxury since a family haulerc rawhide interior. I like the setup of the Hurricane high output engine, the interior is beautiful luxurious, and air suspension got the win. And since the truck is a daily driver for Daddy, I’m going to get this Ram 1500 Tungsten for 2025. Great video!
I have a ram limited and I love it, very smooth ride, interior is excellent, but mpg is the worst I get no more than 15 its always +-14mpg and I have placed an order for an F-150 because of the powerboost and I will check how it goes, im not going back to ram until the ramchager is out on the market
Keep up the good work guys. You guys have the best when it comes to comparison. I would love for you guys to do a review on the Hummer ev, because I only see you guys do it at the auto show only.
Guys next time, could you do trucks that are fully loaded? Especially the RAM tungsten looks more aggressive! FORD seats look good, but their interior is very cheap looking. FORD should made it with dual exhaust. The lower grille on the FORD😔 plastic abyss. If lower grille matched the upper. I could say it would be one of the best outer looking trucks on the market(and it’s on every trim‼️) Now the RAM you went power headrests but no power steering column. RAM, the center screen should have been wider. RAM needs bigger under back seat storage preferably lockable at top trim price. RAM the lower grille should of matched the upper grille with the chrome accents. RAM for the price of the truck it comes standard with a tarp tonneau cover😔. If I was to pick a truck it would be on the bases of what I can get fully loaded truck from factory! I sorry but no truck brand on the market can “truly” compete with RAMS top 6 trims(fully loaded) on the market(Ok that was probably a stretch by 1 trim😂🤥) Now if I’m a tailgater, contractor, or home power outage. Hands down I would pick FORD for its power outlets in tailgate. But you can get 2 outlets in the RAM tailgate and one in the driver side RAMBOX. 2025 RAM TUNGSTEN 1500 fully loaded no truck in its class has its conveniency, comfort, storage, and luxury(🤔let me know if I left anything out)
ts was dumb, i love both companies, i just got a 2011 ram 1500 sport for my first truck, but parents always only get Fords so i love both, and ur not being fair with comparisons, everytime ram had something, u gave a full point, every time ford got something, half a point
I like the ram but everyone I know who owns ram is always having some kind of problem with it then again ford is having plenty of issues with there products I have a 2017 gmc with no issues so I guess I will stick with my gmc the ram is pretty I will say that
Lol…. Every one and I mean everyone I know that have Ford,GM and Ram have issues. Everyone…. I been in this world a long time and well aware of most of the issues on all makes. Now it a matter of picking your poison on what repair ya may want to do on any make. I’ll take the Ram. Manifold bolts or the 1% issue with lifters is the poison I picked. Cheaper to repair versus ford or GM issues.
The ford needs a massive redesign. The body lines pretty much look the same now for like 20 years. It's sooo stale! Every year a tweak in the front facia and new tail lights and same ole truck. Ram desperately needs an update as well.
My 1999 Ford F-150 Lariat-trim had an external radio antenna. That Ford is STILL using an external radio antenna for a 2025-model $90K truck (or on ANY vehicle, these days!) should have been a few points off, also. Worrying about your antenna breaking-off in a carwash should no longer be an issue car buyers have.
But I would never pay that much for a ram truck or any other truck I just won’t. I’m never paying more than $40,000 again probably won’t be getting another truck and that’s OK. I got too many cars as it is.
Ford half-tons can do some actual work. Ram is meant for crusing. 900ish pounds of payload and less total bed space than your average mid-size truck? No thanks.
I usually like your comparisons, but this one misses the mark. The Ram is undoubtedly the better truck. I just don’t believe in the real world it is that much better than the Ford. Your numbers make it appear that the Ford isn’t even in the running. They should just close up shop and stop building trucks. Some will agree with that sentiment, however there remains a reason the Ford is the number one selling truck year in and year out. Maybe even at this price point, truck buyers want their truck to feel like a truck.
Which is more reliable? Another reviewer I follow had a 2025 Ram Limited for a week and the vehicle had 4 problems, most centered around the U.I. malfunctioning. Stellantis just laid off 400 engineers in its engineering, technology and software divisions. Yeah, it's a pretty truck, but who wants issues with that price tag?
@@weirdshibainu ah yes, I did catch that. You're right. He loved the truck but for the UConnect issues. I'm not sure if his was isolated or not. TFL has had a '25 Rebel for a while with no issues.
@@weirdshibainu well...who would've thought Toyota would have engine problems?? It is not isolated to Stellantis. Ford still has cam phaser and 10R80/140 transmission issues on brand new trucks(follow Flying Wrenches here on YT on that). But I agree, @ $90K, NONE of them should have issues.
People will be trading in their sports cars in supercars for the new Ram. I'm drooling over this new inline 6. I was shocked to see the (SO) standard output inline 3.0, is as fast as lighter ford high output 3.5 Ford equal. Haters are the best advertisement we could ever ask for. Notice there's not much complaining and hate towards the new Toyota by owners of other trucks, who is now getting one of the biggest recalls in automotive truck history. Because no one is dying of jealousy because @ Toyota... We work I'm security, we will be look forward to the new #RAMs
These two are the try hard luxury trucks. Everyone knows the GMC Sierra Denali Ultimate is the truck to beat. I actually prefer the GMC’s styling and interior over both of these trucks. The Ford looks like a 2015 model.
No electric tilt? Ugly boot instead. Other than that, Ram is my choice. I have a 2020 Limited, looks like mostly the same truck with added technology. $90000 verses $0000000, 340000 miles, there is not enough to get me to trade. The 2020 ride is exceptional and very reliable.
Your review is inaccurate according to Ram dealers. They all have told me the Tungsten Ram will have power tilt/telescope wheel. And at the time of your video, the truck was not available yet.
@@dave3682 so the Tundra is a Japanese truck despite being made in Texas? I care more about American workers BUILDING things than where something is headquartered. Americans consume durable goods to the tune 65%+ from China and nothing is said.
FORD fanboys always telling me that the F150 interior is just as nice as the RAM haha. A Laramie has a nicer interior than the top F150. Leaf springs on a $90k truck? Really, FORD?
Why do I feel like COVID caused this price hike. It’s like when the chip shortage happened which led to demand over supply. Ever since then, the prices only sky rocketed. I hope people don’t forget what some of these manufacturers did to them. It would be great if a high percentage of consumers paused or cancel their purchases just so that these dealers and manufacturers feel it.
As inventory starts to stack up, especially with trucks, we are hoping to see prices start to fall through the second half of this year. But, yes, the increases in prices have been insane over the last few years!
@@weirdshibainu That's because 90 percent of the people buy them for cars , us 10 percent their totally useless , very poor load rating , stupid options I don't need and goofy tailgates that are rendered useless after the first dent .
As a customer, i dont care how much luxury is added to any of does trucks. We are not stupid. Those trucks are $40,000 MSRP Overpriced by the manufacture. Those prices ARE AN INSULT TO THE AMERICAN CUSTOMER ALREADY. Manufactures think customers are stupid and wont care if they keep raising the prices. WELL, I TELL EVERYONE, DO NOT BUY ANY OF THEIR NEW VEHICLES. LET THE AMERICAN AUTO MANUFACTURES GO BROKE. THAT WILL TEACH THEM A LESSON TO "RESPECT" THE AMERICAN CONSUMER AND DROP THOSE REDICULOUS PRICES BY 40% TO 50%. JUST STAY AWAY. BUY YOURSELF A CHEAP USED VEHICLE AND WAIT AS THE AUTO MANUFACTORS GO BANKRUPT. BUNCH OF RIP OFFS.👎👎👎
the ram is ugly and I'll say out of all trucks is the least attractive imo , I'll go with the ford and it's not even close for me but if I had a choice between the gm and the ram id also go with the gm , fiat is a wannabe company that'll never beat ford in real world comparisons. thus why 90% of the workforce goes with fords and not rams period
Why would any man buy these overpriced trucks when they could buy a Bimmer or Benz for a triple caked up ebony queen like me????? This is cray cray!!! Y’all gots to be trippin rn!!!!!
Simple answer......towing. Miss Triple-Caked. Plus, if a truck is what he wants to buy, better believe you will be driving it around and showing it off to your friends. STOP THE CAP.
It’s the same with them expensive ass suvs y’all keep buying who tf would pay 60 grand for a highlander when you can get a slightly used Mercedes’ gls for the same or cheaper
Neither there both massivly overpriced...not to mention stelantis/ram is going to be going under soon with all the ceo's bailling ship and stelantis not paying parts suppliers n all....and the ford well....its too expensive for it being a ford
