Deep in the China countryside, Icey hasn't visited her hometown since she finished college, and left for an adventure abroad. Once she was away from home, she didn't stop running for 2 years. At the time it felt to her like an escape, but how about now? It's a small world in this valley, and will Christian be too goofy and different for her parents to like him? We're two backpackers, Icey and Christian, who met when we were both on our first solo adventure abroad. We travelled for 9 months together, then split when we ran out of money. Now after some intense saving, we're back to continue our adventures together. Our relationship grows closer by the day. We still have a lot to learn about the world, travelling cheap, and each other. We're excited to share with you what we know, and what we learn.
We are not rich, but living abroad is a lot cheaper than most people know, especially if you have the right tips in your pocket. It's our hope to inspire you guys to get out there and multiply your savings, and maybe even find your life partner along the way.
