First time I see anyone calling Champ an "LSA". The ACA website is very careful not to mention it, because ASTM definition of LSA includes a minimum useful load, which Champ fails. So, it's SP-eligible certificated airplane, but not an LSA.

These are wonderful aircraft, far more fun and rewarding to fly than the ubiquitous 172s and Archers found at every flight school. It's a pity that people avoid them due to concerns over handling a tailwheel aircraft--in reality they're very docile in the air and on the ground. Would love to see ACA have a resurgence, but unfortunately even the Aurora (7ECA) costs 5x the US median income and I doubt we'll see many new ones entering the market in today's economic climate.
