Fantastic Game Chris, very interesting scenario and the table looked great. Would agree on increasing Union stamina to 3, especially when attacking a prepared/fortified position. Many Thanks👍
Heya RSD, great vid! I am definitely gonna dip my toes into Epic ACW soon because of video series like yours. I was going to ask about free moves for some of those obstinantly stationary regiments, but I realized after rereading the rules that since they were in line compared to column that they couldnt. Anyway, keep up the great Epic content!
Sweet setup and terrain. I bought the Civil war starter box back when they released the Epic Scale (the initial first Starter Set box). Have not played a single game yet though. Its a sub from me.
Great battle report! I’m just dipping my toe into this ruleset, so very helpful to watch. How come you removed the broken confederate battalion in turn 6? Is a broken battalion supposed to be removed from the battlefield or was that more scenario specific?
Hey Petter, thanks for the feedback and support it’s much appreciated 👍🏻 in terms of your question, there are some rules for broken brigades, which basically mean they start retreating off the battlefield - the good thing about Black Powder is it’s quite flexible, so I tend to just remove the units from play, as it just saves time and they were pretty close to the edge of the game board anyway. Basically it’s what works for you, but there are rules you can abide with more strictly if you want. Hope that helps
