Nobody can step to Sade - she has her own lane. Smooth Jazzy and seductive! I can confidently suggest (Can't Patron not working) a band that would smooth you out that is about 20 years more recent. Zero 7 is a "collective" where they use different singers. At one point they had Sia, Tina Dico, Sophie Barker and Jose Gonzales all on the same album singing different songs. One of my top bands ever, especially as an adult for chill. Hard to top songs like Destiny, Home, Somersault, Spinning, In the waiting line, etc etc - Simple Things, When it falls and The Garden were all super albums, probably others as well. Trust me these songs are MUST LISTEN materials. Aloha
This song is 37 years old! She's 63 now and is just as beautiful now as she was then! I fell in love with her voice when I was in the army then when I saw her I was gone to another plane of existence!
@@JeebusJames feeling old at that revelation? I know I do, especially as I can go and put my hands on the vinyl LP that i bought when it first came out !
I adore Sade. Literally everything she has ever produced is wonderful. The Lovers Rock album is a particular fave of mine as it brings back memories of an old boyfriend and an amazing holiday.
Sade inspired singers such as Beyonce, Aaliyah and Brandy. But you can see why. You are so right Asia. Her voice does put you into a state of relaxation. Great reaction to an amazing artist Asia and BJ ❤️
Sade is working on a new album hopefully she'll tour in 2023. She is a must see live performer her and her backing band Sweetback are incredible live .
Roberta Flack "The first time ever I saw your face" from the movie "Play Misty for me" AND "Killing me softly" One of the most Beautiful voices you'll ever hear!
I remember when I bought the cd, I played it out! I love Sade! She definitely has one of those voices that anyone could recognize. And it is a very soothing calming voice. She's beautiful and just amazing! I remember putting the CD on when I would go to bed. The music helped me not only to fall asleep,,but also take my mind to a different place and just be quiet and enjoy. Asia and BJ - I wish I had a voice like hers! I guess you can say she's my "Girl Crush!" LadyGator1983 🐊 🐊🐊
Hands down the most “uniquest” sensual voice of all time. She has some great songs. Try listening to the Album Love Deluxe and Lovers Rock. Almost every song on those 2 albums will not disappoint. Songs from Love Deluxe like No Ordinary Love, Kiss of Life, Cherish the Day, Pearls, Feel No Pain. And songs from Lovers Rock like By Your Side, The Sweetest Gift, Every Word, Flow, King of Sorrow, Immigrant, and Lovers Rock!! Holy smokes Asia and BJ she only makes an album every 10 years or so. I was looking at Lovers Rock release year was 2000. I’m getting old. Still great music tho!!! Haha Keep on keeping you two! Love you guys! I think you need a Tim McGraw country live feed!!
Great choice!! Sade, Stuart Matthewman, Andrew Hale and Paul Denman are the truth!! If you have a chance, check out one of their concert videos on RU-vid to really see what they’re about. They were supposed to have released a new album by now, but as they’re working on it, I’m with them. Big shout to my people, Asia and BJ!!!
I saw Sade in Denver 9/13/2001, two days after the WTC attacks. They had the show anyway and were one of the best concerts I ever saw. The whole band is tight!
Don't forget all the musicians backing up Sade. I have been a fan since the eighties and learned a lot of how I play today from how her band plays exactly what the song calls for. They pull it all off live and that is really a treat.
When Sade took a hiatus in the mid 90"s her band put out an album under the name "sweetback". I think it was 96 or 97. I know y'all love music so i think you'll love this album. But my favorite song ob that release is one they did with maxwell called softly, softly. Please check it out
so many babies were made in the 80s and 90s while listening to Sade records... such a vibe! And you should watch one of her videos for the next reaction - the leader singer of the group Sade, Sade Adu, is stunning and so interesting to watch.
Love sade..dad was Nigerian/mum English raised in London from age of six still going strong..love our London “gal” lol great channel guys keep it going 👍💙
I stayed home and watched a Sade concert on TV one New Years Eve. It was sooo good! Some of my favorite Sade songs: Is It A Crime Cherish The Day No Ordinary Love Soldier Of Love
My all-time favorite album by her is the Promise album from the fall of 1985. This song was on this album. Other songs from that album like Isn't It A Crime, War of The Hearts, Jezebel and Maureen. What a terrific singer-songwriter indeed!!!
If you want more Sade(and who doesn't?)please check out "Cherish the Day", "Keep Looking", "Sweet As Cherry Pie", "Hang On to Your Love"", "No Ordinary Love", and "Soldier of Love."
I'm that triple OG that inspired and each and every song Sade ADU wrote 😉 lol 😂🥰 very beautiful voice play Your Love Is King by her, pleeeeeease!! Love you guys, you two love birds have a blessed evening. Sincerely your Mexican Soul Brother Vic ✌️😎🎶🤘💯🙏 and for Asia 🌹❣️
“A quiet storm” is a perfect description of her music If you listen deeper into her sound she is backed by a group of phenomenal musicians Everyone doing their job without stepping on anyone else The group safe is a chilled symphony
This song has always given me tingles. Her voice had a husky, smoky and haunting quality. You should check out Never as good as the first time . Loved this reaction .Ty ❤
If you really enjoyed this, check out her concert in San Diego. I've seen various clips of the concert but each clip she's singing a different song.... I HIGHLY recommend it with 👏👏👏👏👏
Sade can calm the storm, transport you right outta here, put you in a room of utopia, open the door to greet your fantasy. My goodness, what a song. Criminal she did not produce more music, ABSOLUTELY CRIMINAL!! Love me some Sade and I loved your reaction. TY BJ and Asia.
