Yea my pops lasted until 49. Was an amazing man . I changed the cycle so far . My boys 19 and 5. He passed when my oldest was 2. He missed the best days.

The first thing that comes to mind is how important a father is in a boy's life. And how much you helped your son by being a good father

A large reason for that was the difference is size and “vibe” between NYC and places like Camden, or even Philly. But people would go to Jersey, because the bags weren’t stepped on as heavy, you were less likely to get ripped off, the bags were a little bit bigger, etc. So it’s not that the dope was better per se, it’s all the same heroin coming from the east, it just depends on the dealers how much they will cut it, how often they will rip off people, etc. It’s not like dealers in Jersey can get different dope, it physically has to come through New York / east coast via a port before it even gets to Jersey, so theoretically New York could have that dope before Jersey even sees it

A junkie will make a way. And a lot were dishonorably discharged for drug use, maybe they yammed while on patrol

Real heroin can get you real active were talking real dope not having to take benzos to get a nod they weren't on patrol all the time dope was every. where in Vietnam still is if you know we're to look

I never understood how all these guys that fought in Vietnam came home with dope problems I had an uncle who was a good man but being in Vietnam. Like you said how did these guys function in a war it’s mind-boggling and what were the higher ups doing did they not see this with their own eyes

Al profit is correct. China white references no #4 H, the water soluble type used for injection. It was an established term long before anyone had used fentanyl recreationally. Please do your research before correcting others, it’s very frustrating when it comes to drugs, suddenly everyone thinks they’re a damn expert.

there might have been some instances as early as the 90’s, but super pure heroin is not the same as the stepped on stuff. I can guarantee that if you spend 20cmin researching “China white”, you will find that both me and Al Profit stand correct. It’s non negotiable, but if you bring any sources to the contrary, I’ll be willing to dig up sources that predate fentanyl that also reference “China white”. Pure diacetylmorphine HCl =China white, no #4. That said, locally, you will find people using terms incorrectly, but that are still “correct” in your area, but local slang doesn’t apply to an internationally used term.
