Hey guys, a lot of people have requested I re-upload a few videos that were taken down, here is the The Daniel Bryan Story, make sure to drop a like to help get the video picked up by RU-vid’s algorithm, and subscribe if you haven’t already for a brand new video coming this weekend 💪🏻👊🏻🤘🏻👍🏻
Yeah, yeah, winding down. Immediately entering into a feud with AEW champion, Kenny Omega (and to a lesser extent, the rest of the Elite) is 'winding down.'
There's no losing momentum with this man. Even when he loses a match, he makes himself look like a million bucks, whilst also making his opponents look phenomenal.
Sorry I am late I usually reply on your comment so..............................................................................................................................................hey.
This is a perfect example of the saying "The customer is always right". WWE planted their feet in the ground and didn't think Bryan was a star but the overwhelming fan support for him was too big to ignore. You love to see it.
Anything other than the Final Countdown will be a missed opportunity. I can't wait to see him and Punk together! AEW has always been a wild ride, but it's about to be even crazier!
Yeah, same here. I'm surprised the backlash on that type of stupid and old fashioned thinking wasn't worse! I say this being an omnivore myself. It was a very stupid comment by an old outdate fart.
I remember being in a hotel room while moving when the massive shutdown started last year, I hadn't watched Smackdown in years but I figured I'd tune into to watch 2 of my favorites go at it, Bryan and Gulak. Easily one of the most entertaining crowdless matches I've seen. Them and other Indie guys that have made it know how to put on a show for 25 people which has given them an advantage over some of the big guys who have only wrestled in arenas for decades.
Daniel is a fantastic wrestler, and proved small guys like him can be a huge draw in a huge promotion like WWE. Thanks for re uploading this great documentary.
Bryan made Cena a much more wrestling oriented guy in the ring as well. John improved alot in the ring. Props to guys like AJ Styles and Daniel Bryan for that.
Do you think it hurt his character though, hear me out. So Cesaro and Bryan were the most likely ones to win but I think Cesaro should of won and could also come back from getting insta beat. If we are to believe that this is D Brys last run he shouldn't of been punked out with an insta loss.
@@PopeyeBjj86 I wouldnt call it an insta loss? He did counter the spear into a yes lock. Also Bryans at a point where I dont belive he could ever be buried or punked out. No matter what happens to Bryan hes still gonna be loved by 99% of people.
its literally crazy that just months post his statement of wwe run being his last, he is now all elite ,JUST BECAUSE he just CANNOT leave the opportunity of facing the questionably greatest technicians / submissionists etc etc on roh, njpw aew!! thank you bryan 👏👏👏👏👏 thank you bryan
He gets taken for granted he could’ve been done after that first retirement but no he was able to come back and look at the work he’s done from that heel run
I’ll admit Daniel Bryan was super over beginning in 2013 and The Authority were good at being heels. But I personally feel that he shouldn’t have been viewed as an underdog after beating John Cena who was the top guy at the time. Not to mention being a great technical wrestler who was world champ before the yes movement became a thing. Still Bryan is one of the best stars of 2010s.
He was an underdog in the sense that no matter how good he was or who he beat, the company didn’t want him as champ. They didn’t want him to represent them. He was a good underdog because, despite them throwing everything they could at him to stop his momentum and main event success (in storyline and behind the scenes), he always pushed through. His never give up stance worked where John Cena’s didn’t because John Cena was clearly a company favorite, and no one could buy into the Authority not wanting him to succeed. He was the poster boy. The big name on the marquee. There’s nothing wrong with that, but it’s not a believable character to be the underdog. Bryan was believable in that role.
@@icyprincey Europe apparently hates that song and charges astronomical sums for its usage. It might happen at a big show someday but it's cost prohibitive to use it all the time
something that makes this a really good video is how he tells you what to look up but doesn't out right say to look it up XD its a good way to get around the wwe copy right stuff
I had a limited knowledge of Daniel Bryan until recently. Only watched his Wrestlemania matches through XXX. I bought a copy of the Wrestling Road Diaries from Colt Cabana just before All Out last weekend and watched it over the next couple of days. So interesting to see Bryan Danielson in his time just before WWE. Very excited to see what's next.
Perseverance, Dedication, a No-Quit attitude and simply one of the best ever to do it. Kudos to your Mr Danielson. Your legend lives on in AEW, but you made me a fan in ROH......you are the man.
Fantastic video! I came in wanting to know the entire run of Danielson and I myself personally missed a lot of the episodes that he aired in, and wasn't disappointed at the solid complete work and structuring. Great work!
Daniel Bryan and Kane is what originally.got me back in to watching WWE... Watching and enjoying Lucha Underground then eventually AEW were the reasons I stopped though.
Came from outside of WWE,made a name in WWE. No nepotism, not favourable in terms of size. Bryan may very well be the greatest wrestler of this century ❤️ He was always in big storylines. I loved his run.
I noticed a looot of ppl hate this guy. I don’t get it. I remember I was introduced to him in NXT. Had no clue he been around forever already, and was already with WWE years prior. He out of everyone on that NXT roster got my attention. Now look at him, he shined and succeed more out of all of them as well. Even when he was losing every week to main event guys on show, I still was cheering him on. He put on bad ass matches and his technical style reminded me of Benoit. Also him being vegan and not watching TV interested me more as well.
If there's ever a documentary i would like to have sometimes about a wrestler (beside the more known), it would be about RSP (Rickey Shane Page). Maybe this year would be a bit too early, no idea...but i think he deserves one. 18 years actual in the business and seen it all, his career definitely has something to tell. And you make good ones, not too long and with a nice backstory. Maybe it would be something you would like to do next year or so. Maybe you think about it.
"Until Sheen had to move out for health reasons". More like until Sheen realized that wrestling cant really be done when you snort coke all day every day.
@@marcelmeyer6857 actually he was on pills, opium and cocaine are 2 different substances that bring on different effects. it would have been a mess yes, but it would have still been possible, which is what im pointing out. i dont think you understand how big cocaine was in the wrestling world back in the 80/90s.
I've said this before everywhere it applies. I only saw one ROH show. aug 2003. Christopher Daniels, Samoa Joe, Colt Cobana, CM Punk, Nigel McGinnis, Bryan Danielson and a few others. to think that 20yrs later several of these guys have become some of the most sought after pro wrestlers in the world. it's just incredible.
starting to love watching and enjoying your videos and of course all wrestlers documentaries in there careers what about female wrestlers documentaries in there careers you already made the becky lynch story I want to watch see and injoy the sasha banks story and the ronda rousey story next can you do those 🥰
DANIELSON IS THE VERY G.O.A.T OF PROFESSIONAL WRESTLING 🇺🇲🐲🐐...and his best run is FINALLY to come in the VERY BEST WRESTLING COMPANY ON THE PLANET SINCE 2019
I only rejoined wrestling fandom around the beginning of the "wednesday night wars" (stopped watching around the end of the invasion angle). I missed much of Daniel Bryan's career. It kind of makes me mad that they thought the "YES!" chant was over, and not Daniel Bryan, himself! Crazy!!!
Me *several years ago*: What's so special about this dude Daniel Bryan why are wrestling fans Gaga about him? Me *after watching his insane legitimate wrestling matches*: This man deserves his own wrestling promotion to put McMahon out of business.
I’m seeing this as of 9/3/2021 for the 1st time. This weekend is AEW’s All Out event. If the talk is true we might see the “American Dragon “🐉 Bryan Danielson make his debut for AEW. If the promotion moved his debut up. That would be a beautiful thing. We already have CM Punk for AEW , why not? 🤷🏻♂️ 👍🏼😉
I do think it’s unfair to chalk his 2013 Summerslam title match to fans hijacking shows for him. WWE actually booked him pretty well that year leading up to that match
Now I'm wondering, if Bryan Danielson will come out to "The Final Countdown" again, or a different rock/metal version of Flight of the Valkyries when he makes his AEW debut? I know Kahn isn't shy about buying the rights to certain songs for his talent, especially if they are known with those themes
The way WWE treat people THEY don't believe in, is exactly why I'm glad AEW is bringing it. WWE can stay how they are bringing out the Rock every year so we can all hear more f his tired catch phrases, while on AEW we'll continue watching the best wrestlers putting on the most incredible matches. It's Triple H as well. He's also concerned about the way people look. They have to "look" the part, look like him. Absolutely had enough of them. Now we don't have to hope they wake up and get better, we just got something better in AEW.
I remember one of the early Smackdown games on the PS1 or PS2 had a "Yes Yes Yes" sign and I don't know if that slogan of this guy was put in the game- or if he took it from the game....But I also remember when K-Kwik was a CAW in the early Smackdown games....Or a hidden character...I can't remember which- but then he finally actually came into the WWE....And he wasn't used as well as he should have been but thats the story of many though out WWE history.
Man I agree those matches with mcGuiness was the best matches ive seen in my life since middle 80s I started watching wrestling. But to be fair those was cause both of them were in the top lvl of thei carrier.
Probably one if not the best technical wrestlers of all time I would’ve loved if he fueded with Kurt angle because him and Kurt are some of the best wrestlers of all time Corbin didn’t deserve to go against one of the best wrestlers of all time(Like if you agree👍)
As much as I loved DB and wanted to see him at the top, the only thing I hated about it was the backlash it gave to other wrestlers. Granted, it was Vince's typical idiotic thinking that took DB so long to reach the top, but because of that people like Batista and Roman Reigns were hated on when they didn't deserve it. Roman's doing fine now and Batista left on his own accord afterwards, but neither of them, especially Batista who helped pave the way deserved that
