Ever since the in-ring retirement of Stone Cold Steve Austin in 2003, arguably no wrestler has ever come as close to capturing the zeitgeist and ushering in a new boom period in wrestling as CM Punk. Back in 2011 Punk was ready to explode, having just cut the promo of a lifetime. CM Punk one of the all time great wrestlers of the modern era, his matches were always entertaining, whenever he spoke on the mic, he made sure you listened , so charismatic, the Summer of 2011 with the Pipe Bomb, MITB match with John Cena in Chicago were some of the best highlights of the last decade of WWE, CM Punk truly a legend 👏👏👏👏

I'm one of those people who was brought back to wwe because of that pipe bomb promo he did. I really enjoyed his 3 week absence and was showing somewhere else. but wwe was so short-sighted and Cena doesnt want to turn heel when we are really looking forward to it. I remember there was a BANGER of a video that cataloged CM Punk during his early career, coming up in Mid South, and in depth his time in RoH, the second city saints, his feuds with Ricky the Dragon Steamboat, Raven, His matches with Joe etc. all to a great sound track. The guy even put chapters to the different phases of punks career. The channel was called something like nikks sikk vids or something but the channel seems to be deleted.

I love every documentary you have made so far. Such great insight and many great stories within each one. There was so much I didn't know about my favorite wrestlers, me being an idiot until recently, thinking that there was nothing before WWE, that these docs help me remember that WWE, isn't the "Be all, end all" I once thought. After Edge's initial retirement, Punk was literally the only thing keeping me interested in the WWE . The Cena agenda during that time was just impossible to sit through as a teenager and Punk being disrespected like that was the last straw
