Weather as always is a big plus of this lifestyle. As Michelle says, hard to give up the nice weather when you get used to it. I dread the idea of going back to Canada and being in the gloom and rain. Ugh do depressing.
I would love to know the number of people that are leaving the US for good. I lived in Portugal about 20 years ago. I nust have missed something. I really did not find the people all that friendly. I learned the language, but that didn't matter. They seem to be nice to certain people, as far as I could see. I love exploring Latin America. The people there are amazing.
