It is in our culture to treat a foreign people like you to be treated as if you are in ur country. Just feel at home D & J when you come to our country just feel at home guys. wherever you go there's good and bad people. Just be careful and vigilant whenever you are in Philippines. Filipino are mostly nice but you know just be careful

Just be aware and cautious of your surroundings. Filipino are kind, but there few filipino have evil thought, and takes the opportunity. If your not sure to this kind of people, get some reliable filipino where hotels to stay, for the safety purpose.

we have so many festivals here. it's like every province has its own festival. Sinulog is held every January. The Sinulog Festival celebrates the arrival and spread of Christianity in the Philippines, symbolized by the Santo Niño. Another popular festival is the Masskara festival which is in Bacolod. This annual festival, which is similar to Brazil's Rio Carnival, literally translates to “many faces,” and is celebrated every October in Bacolod. Because of the smiling faces of the mask, Bacolod City got the nickname of The City of Smiles. on another note, when you come visit here, expect to be recognized by your viewers and some will ask to take pictures. can't wait for you to experience our culture. more power to your channel

I agree there's a lot of festivals in the Philippines. Almost every month. There's Sinulog in Cebu, Dinagyang in Iloilo, Ati Atihan in Kalibo, all in January then Panagbenga or Flower Festival in Baguio on February there's Moriones in Marinduque, there's festival in Bulacan about harvests with lots of vegetables on display. May is the month for fiestas. There's a festival in Davao on August, Masskara Festival on October in Bacolod then Lantern Festival in Pampanga on December. I don't remember it all but there's a lot to enjoy. Although I agree that Sinulog is the most celebrated festival of all.

Every province in the Philippines has its own unique and grand festival. Back in my province of Bohol, we have the Sandugo Festival!

AFTER SINULOG FESTIVAL, TRY ALSO DINAGYANG FESTIVAL, If you want to experience cultural tribe dance, which has been awarded as the BEST FESTIVAL IN THE PHILIPPINES. But all festivals here in PH are amazing

The”little kid” that the lady was saying is Baby Jesus( Sto. Nino)…this is more a Catholic festival, as far as I know…I haven’t witnessed this live myself yet…hopefully, in the future…good luck to your plans in staying in the Philippines for good!

Cebu City is famous for its Sinulog Festival, it’s like the Mardi Gras of Southwest Asia. I was there this past January Sinulog 2024

It is not a Mardi Grass, it is a every cities in Cebu tribe to compete their own unique tribe every islands represent their small town like land of smile, land of fruits, land of honestly, land of animal and all, Mardi Grass just a whole bunch of people getting high and drunk, don’t compare a sinulog to a party parade

@@motivationontop6587 by saying it’s like a Mardi Gras, I did not mean the partying and drinking although for foreigners who attend this festival, there is certainly that. I actually heard this phrase from a foreigner. I know it’s related to religion. I am from Cebu City although I have lived in the States over 40 years now. I certainly didn’t mean any disrespect about this festival.

@@blackraven2018 I didn’t meant to be rude or anything you know , I was just stating facts, I’ve had seen Mardi Gras’s looks like, the event in New Orleans, people throwing bracelets, doing inappropriate things, just to have a good time, but sinulog it is a festivals for our people to compete traditionally to keep our cultural traditions, it has nothing to do with the Mardi Gras’s, but I get what you’re saying, thank you peace 🤝

No worries you were right to point that out but for foreigners it’s one big party because it is a celebration with people dancing in the streets. I think it’s compared to Mardi Gras due to the volume of people attending, keeps increasing year over year maybe not necessarily the partying and drinking part.

I used to work in a place where im the friendliest and nice and my co workers thinks im a schemer just because im nice and friendly. They think im plotting something evil. Theyre assuming 😂. Hello DandJ. I have watched some of your reactions before, however, I am here again under a new account. For some reason, I needed to change it. Speaking of Sinulog, I have mentioned this before on one of my comments from before from my old account. I saw many videos of the Sinulog 2024 (usually held on the 3rd Sunday of January) that were uploaded in YT, but here is a link on one that I found more focused on the performance rather than the crowd and chaos. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-0EnxJCsl5S0.html. I think I have watched one of your livestreams but for sure, will try to watch them more often if I can. Am thinking, are those people in your Patreon's lists requesting that you react to their YT videos/Vlog for promotion? If so, I can understand the need to become a member. I think that is Calvin Castel. I see a few of his videos. That's his style. He goes around and interview people. He also interviewed many people at the FIBA World Cup even players of other countries when it was held here in the Philippines last year. He has a video where he asked the foreigners if how safe is the Philippines when they came here for the FIBA World Cup.

It is so normal issue that any one going travel into another Country to be just aware your surroundings watch all your belongings right ? In my country is not the best place or country but I can guarantee you guys at least if you talk to the locals here they take care and never treat you as a stranger but welcoming you with wide open and help you the best they can.
