When the American flag was raised on the University of North Carolina campus amid pro-Palestinian protests this week, some protesters wanted it to come down. Brendan Rosenblum and some of his Pi Kappa Phi fraternity brothers said no. They surrounded the flagpole and protected it from others trying to take it down. He tells “On Balance” they endured thrown water bottles and verbal abuse but stood firm. He also held an Israeli flag and said nobody was going to stop them from keeping those flags flying.
