Ghosts of Grenfell was in my suggestions while watching Sky New's documentary! I was fine during the documentary and through most of the song.. lost it about 5 seconds into "where?" felt like that list would never end. Great suggestion.

@@emeraldknight2342 my top 3 is pretty much the same just switch Akala with Ghetts. Mic Righteous takes top spot for me, Ghetts in second place and Lowkey in third. I went thru a phase where I listened to a lot of Akala but honestly I can't stand him anymore, no disrespect intended and I still think he's a good rapper and a good lyricist but I can't stand the way he raps, he sounds very amateur. When Akala was young it kinda worked, his amateur sound felt more raw like when any MC starts out their flow and cadence will be unrefined, which is what I love about Mic, Ghetts and Lowkey's older music, their flows are raw and unrefined but now Ghetts, Mic and Lowkey have all tightened their flow, especially Ghetts his technique is impeccable but Akala still sounds exactly how he did when he first started. Also Akala's cadence sounds like he's rapping to school children. I still think Akala's good tho, I'd probably just put him down to top 20. The Thieves' Banquet is one of my favourite albums of all time so I can't knock him for that

Lowkey was part of a group/movement called "the peoples army" which also consisted of Akala and Mic Righteous to name a few. All 3 are goats out here IMO. You need to check out all of their FI TB's. Thanks for doing Lowkey. Some of his music gives a pretty direct message and can’t really be broken down. I think Ghosts of Grenfell is like that too. But if you want bars to break down “The return of Lowkey” and his Daily Duppy from last year should be good. ❤️

Great reaction! This was actually the first song that came out after his five year break. I remember being happy Lowkey was back and being sad about the song. The boy that this was about was found on the beach and printed on the front pages of newspapers in Europe. It opened the eyes to alot of people that had been told in the past that asylum seekers were less human than 'us'. People were shocked at first but its long forgotten and the anti refugee rhetoric is still strong in the media and certain sections of society over here.

When you pause the video at 6:05. The child was all over the media in this country. Alan Kurdî, the press named him as. Drowned at sea and found on the beach in Bodrum, Turkey. Drowned at 3 years old. Separated from his parents in a faulty dinghy, whilst fleeing the war in Syria. That's just one in thousands. Thank you for your reaction to this and seeing what a US perspective is that some see in Europe.

You don't have people trying to enter your country by sea. People arrive in the US primarily at the airports. The southern border is hardly a point of entry at all, so even if Trump had built a wall 50 feet thick and two hundred feet high it wouldn't have made any difference. In Europe you have people trying to cross the Mediterranean from North Africa and the Middle East, as well as trying to cross the English Channel in boats. That's the people who are drowning every year now, mostly people fleeing countries that US forces are bombing and have turned into hell like Syria and Iraq and Libya. You bomb, they come, and some drown. All the time. Killed at home, killed in the water. And then the people who call for bombs get irate about refugees arriving, because they're morons as well as scumbags.
