Please check out Ed Scissor - Theremin (probably the best written hip hop song of the past decade atleast) and Jam Baxter - The Stump (crazy imagery and the video has lyric subtitles so itll be easier to catch with the accent factored in). Big up!

Bit late but from my knowledge I’m pretty sure the four owls were heavily influenced my Wu-Tang like you said, “so sharp I cut silk in the river” and “slay with tongue” all that Lyrical Warfare Stuff but they’re also just from the same time. Not sure about Dirty Dike but I’ve always thought he’s got that Slim Shady style to it, either way they still bring something new to that style and it’s amazing.
