44 years and 4k, but it's missing what would have been a really interesting extra - an interview with Giorgio Armani. This movie set a style and a tone for the first half of the 1980s, it also established Armani as a major brand in the USA, and the clothes are almost a character in the film.

I picked up the original blu ray for a few bucks used. I appreciate it for the clothing styles and aesthetic time capsule that is the 1980's. As far as the story goes, I enjoyed it. I'd watch it again. Although, Id probably wait for the Arrow standard edition to release and go on sale for $20.

If you caught the livestream, when Matt mentions it, I say "Withnail is a notable release" and left it at that... I've never seen it, know nothing about it, but I kid you not... over 20 years now at least, you're at least the 5th person to single that movie out to me specifically. So I know it must have something to it, and whatever it is, must be in line with me. I think after your comment, I'm gonna set some time aside this week to check it out. I don't want to miss a sweet release of something I'm going to end up loving.
