Bloodsport has a good soundtrack. It's more mortal kombat than mortal kombat, before mortal kombat even existed. Of course, Pulp Fiction is one of the best. Another one of my favorite soundtracks not mentioned in your video is Kingpin.
1979 ALIEN T.Y. MR. SCOTT AND MR.GIGER. AWESOME 4K TRANSFER. VISUALLY UPS THE BRILLIANT B.D. VERSION SLIGHTY. 5.1 MIX IS FINE FOR THE PERIOD IT WAS RELEASED. MUCH BETTER IF LISTENED TO IN 7.2 (TRUE DOLBY THE COUSIN OF: DOLBY ATMOS. )
American Psycho soundtrack is pretty good! I always listen to it to get my Patrick Bateman on before I go out for the night! Now if you'll excuse me I need to return some videotapes..
Love the Natural Born Killers soundtrack and all Tarantino related ones. I've always found humour in the weird kind of meta criss-cross of the Boogie Nights soundtrack with Mark Wahlberg singing "The Touch". The song was originally sung by Stan Bush for the animated “The Transformers: The Movie” released in 1986. Not only is the artists’ name very apt for a “Boogie Nights” character alias, but Mark Wahlberg then goes on to star in the later live action Transformers movies! If only he was credited as Dirk Diggler in it! As a lifelong Transformers fan, I still have a nostalgic childhood glow for the song!😀
Some of my favourite soundtracks... Batman Forever Daredevil Guardians of the Galaxy Highlander The Matrix Mortal Kombat Pulp Fiction Spawn The Transformers: The Movie The Wedding Singer
Juice soundtrack and both House Party movies were great. Forrest Gump soundtrack is underated. Tons of great songs. The Wedding Singer with all the classic 80's songs. Goodfellas & A Bronx Tale for your Italian gangster needs.
Let's see if Matt & Russ know the ledge... and the House Party II soundtrack is underrated. Tony Toni Tone's song is incredible and there's a gem on there called "I Lust 4 U" that is soooo perfectly early 90s R&B it's insane.
@@russceasetheruss5360 On Juice of course you got the heavy hitters with Naughty, Rakim and Big Daddy but I love the Teddy Riley is it good to you, Aaron Hall don't be afraid and Rahiem does your man know about me. Love the 90's
Awesome video! I'd love for you guys to follow up with Best Scores! It's frustrating to me how many film reviews I'll watch and they will just pass by any discussion on the music.
Iggy did the Repo Man song for free, Alex Cox told me this personally. Said Iggy Pop is a great dude, and to this day calls Alex Cox on his birthday every year.
I hope it’s a simple transfer… I have it preordered, but I’m ready to cancel the second I hear about DNR smoothing. I’ve been burned way too many times with 4Ks in the past…
I've seen literally every other Hughes Bros. movie except the one that is my favorite soundtrack of all time 😂 I think it became a thing where I don't want the movie to influence how I feel the songs if that makes sense. But we're going on 30 years now lol, I'll watch it.
In my humble opinion the Soundtrack to Spike Lee's 'Crooklyn' is right up there with 'Dead Presidents'. Every bit as good. Every single song is a stone-cold classic. I have the 'Friday' soundtrack on cassette.
Two Tarantino soundtracks, and you somehow left out Reservoir Dogs? …A soundtrack that includes the DJ radio narration by famous comedian Steven Wright? A movie that actually opened with one of the most famous discussions of pop music in film? A movie that managed to elevate “Stuck in the Middle with You“ amidst choreographed ear removal?
I'll take it a step further... "Little Green Bag" (played in the opening credits and track 2 on the soundtrack) is the reason Matt and I bonded as friends when we were 15!
I can never stop listening to “Once Upon a time in Hollywood”. It is a stone cold Time Machine to the summer of 1969. And that’s because QT took an actual reel to reel recording of the L.A. radio station that a fellow nerd had recorded in the summer of 1969. Everything, the actual song audio, the local commercials, everything in the soundtrack is as it was in 1969. It’s the greatest example of QT’s obsession with the small details.
Do you guys know where the song Dirk Diggler records in the film comes from originally? 1986 “Transformers: The Movie” ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-A52--FKUQgU.htmlsi=OhEV_8g5ETN5yVTc
The best soundtracks I’ve heard are: 2001 a space Odyssey the exorcist tales from the Hood Spider-Man 2002 Manhunter true romance Bride of chucky Dangerous minds Guardians of the galaxy Don’t worry darling
damm the friday soundtrack takes me back when it released i had just got my first car it was a beater but it didn't stop me from putting 15" subwoofers and a cd changer in it the soundtrack was in constant rotation all year long
I think your part 2 video should be of your favorite score soundtracks. Of the ones you listen Pulp Fiction is iconic to me and I think I had the Dumb and Dumber Soundtrack on cassette.😂
Respectfully, I need this explained... I've come to believe it's the cover of "People Are Strange" that puts me off entirely (I was a kid who was obsessed with The Doors), but I just don't see this as being classic. Cry Little Sister is iconic, but the soundtrack as a whole? As someone who grew up on the movie, aside from the Doors cover, Cry Little Sister & Walk This Way being used, I can't even remember any other songs in it. I do say all this respectfully, I'm clearly in the minority here...
