I had no idea something like this existed before I came across your video so THANK YOU!!! We’re starting next month with Kaya and working our way through all 8 units this year. I’m a 90’s girly and my 7 year old LOVES anything and everything AG so we’re both very stoked for the school year!

Thanks for this video and information. We read the "meet" book of each american girl doll when we are at their time in our American History study....this goes much further in depth and I'm definitely going to look at it. it looks so fun.

I’m really impressed with the “Kaya’s World” book. I didn’t realize there were reference books for the American girls as well. I’m excited by all the little projects and things too :)

Do you think the American girl units would be great for 1st grade? I would do it as a read aloud.

Yes I think it would be great for that age. There is a range of activities so you would just pick and choose the ones she would be capable of completing. The main book for the studies is really wonderful and full of so much information presented in a very engaging way. :)

This sounds wonderful! What age would you recommend this for?

I think it could be used for a wide age range. The American girl books are a grade 3-4 reading level. But if you have younger kids you could just do it as a read aloud. I think the recipes and crafts younger kids definitely help with. :)

@@theselittlesprouts My 12 year old still basically lives her life around American Girl playing. Do you think this would still be good for her? WE have all the AMerican GIrl historical girls book sets.

@@jennybrown351 I think if she loves American girl she would love this. The reference books that are recommended with these studies are so wonderful and have a lot of information in them
