She's a good singer. I've seen horrible singers perform on this show. The problem is that her grandmother is Aretha Franklyn, and they probably didn't want to be accused of putting her on just because she's Aretha's grand daughter.

At the end of the day, the girl here can carry a tune, and that’s why Katy said yes. The others tried to hold her to a higher standard, because of who her grandmother was.
