What yall got me watching mane. I'm so traumatized by this film just, oh man!!! Yall come follow me on Twitch and join me live for full movie/show reviews / coolrj55
@LUCKY323 Thanks for the info, I'm about to go look into his story it sounds way to interesting. His life story could almost be a movie of it's on and also if you have a few movie recommendations I would definitely appreciate them too 👊...
@Will Ortiz Thanks for rocking with me over here mane and maaaan I wish I could record a reaction to it, but unfortunately, I've already seen that hidden gem of a film 😌 and it was on point. I might do a live review of it over on Twitch though.. If there are any other movie's you would like me to react to I will gladly check em out just list out a few of them for me and whatever I haven't seen I'll add it to the list 👊....
The tattoo on the hand is earned, basically earning their status as a gangmember to that particular gang. So the Lady he was dating used to also be a gangmember but she covers up the hand tattoo now and is no longer “active.” And the main characters dad was also in the gang. Thats why he looks at his hand tattoo at the end. Sometimes its generations of families in gangs in California. The grandpa was in the gang, the dad, the son, etc. its a tradition to them.
@WretchedDrummeR Oh wow 😮 that explains a lot because now that I think about it, the dad was apart the gang when his wife was attacked, so I'm guessing at some point that's when the father left the gang 🤔... Your comment added a lot of good context to this film for me. I appreciate that mane 👍... And if there are any movies you would like me to react to over, make sure to list out a few for me and I haven't seen it I'm adding it to the list 👊👊.... Sorry about the late response also and thanks for rocking with me over here...
Im a 90a kid so my pops will always be telling me "you better not be huffing paint out there" i only smoked herb, i never knew what he ment till i saw this movie the first time lol.
HOW DO YOUR REACTIONS NOT HAVE TONS OF VIEWS BRO?! THIS WHAT I LIKE REAL AUTHENTIC REACTIONS. U CAN TELL U DIDNT WATCH IT BEFORE THIS. OTHER CHANNELS SEEMS LIKE THEY WATCH IT OFF CAMERA THEN GO BACK N WATCH IT AGAIN WHILE MAKING THIER VIDEOS. NOT U THO🫡 WE NEED MORE CONTENT HOMIE. MUCH LOVE...BUT YA AGAIN ALL THAT HOMOSEXUALITY SHIT THAT HAPPEMED ON THIS MOVIE WAS FALSE..BIG REASON WHY ALOT OF PEOPLE INVOLVED IN THIS MOVIE GOT KILLED
@Steel City Productions 🙏🙏 really appreciate that a whole lot you really just don't know 🙌. I'm really glad you're enjoying the content and oh most definitely, no faking over here. Everything I watch is first-time viewings only and I'm glad you can see that 👌... Again greatly appreciate your comment 👊...
Mexican gangs are more in touch with reality and more humble to what can happen to them. The reality we make is run off the worst thing that can happen and except it. U should watch big Hazard its on the same dvd in this movie. Its a documentary. 🔥 watch it
@Fla561 very interesting insight you have there and interesting look at the mentality of people that are in that world 🤔.... Also I've added Big Hazard to the list. Thanks for the recommendation 👊...
Dope reaction Homie. A lot of the comments has spoken truth about people involved in the making of this movie we’re murdered for giving input on the movie some even acted in the movie. The kid at the end when they do the drive by never got to see the movie because he was shot in a drive by and ended up blind before the movie released in theaters. They were huffing spray paint to get high. The tattoo they would get on their hands was the pachuco symbol for gangs in the 40’s and 50’s and eventually evolved into 3 dots representing Mi Vida Loca” My crazy Life”. Just to clear things up the feathers that were ruffled were because of all the rape scenes that were fiction. Olmos was instructed not to put that in the movie but he did and that’s why his name was on a list. All in all it depicts how our people came up in the streets and the system. Fun fact Homie the director of American Me is also the director of Blood in Blood out so you might see some similarities but American Me is a more real depiction of our stylo. Another fun fact Big puppet from American Me is the main character in Boulevard Nights. I hope to see your reaction to those 2 other movies.
Quick facts about this movie as well to give you more sadness from how you already are just by watching it. Three people really got killed outside this movie for a missrepresentation on the organization in certain parts of the movie. You should look into the documentary.
@Manuel Silva I heard this in the comments and was saddened people actually took what was a movie so far but I didn't know there was a documentary that documented this. I'm definitely going to check it out 👍 and also if you got any movies I should react to drop a few for me 👊👊....
More than 3 people got killed because of this movie it was actually like 10 or more people and the director had a hit out on him but was saved by dany trejo
It’s hilarious seeing people who aren’t apart of the Cali hood lifestyle react to the things we do and grew up on lol. Homeboys playing handball then this dude (I’m guessing from the south or country) saying “what is it y’all doin, rack it baaah 😂😂😂😂.
@handsomefatboy 😂😂😂 maaaaan people gotta hip me to this kind of stuff mane . And yeah that's played a little differently out here in the south 👌😂. I want to try out me some handball now.
@Alex thanks mane I'm adding it to the Playlist 👍 but naw, they still did that song wrong by having it play over some imagery of my guy on his suitcasing business 🤦♂️😂😂
@ALLUPINYA thanks for the translation and the way the grandpa said that was in a boss like grumpy manner 😂 I like that character a lot 😂... Also mane if you have anything you think I should react to make sure to list out a few thing's and I'll check out whatever I haven't seen 👊👊...
@@coolrj55 you gotta ask for permission and some things didn't happened that were added that were disrespectful. They're lucky more didn't get killed Danny Trejo saved a lot of people.
@Paypig mane appreciate that info 🙌 I knew it was something like that but wasn't sure. Ay if you have any movie recommendations list a few for me to add to the list...
It's actually a real gang or Barrio (ghetto, hood), Primera Flats (PF). Primera is spanish for first, in this case It's 1st street Flats or Primera Flats. In the beginning of the movie where the kid jumps out at them and hits them up asking "where you vatos from" then he says "Hazard controlamos todo", that's a real barrio too Big Hazard or BH. Both are East L.A. barrios that date back to the 1940's maybe even older along with a Barrio called White Fence, and that's just East L.A.
I see this movie went frist camo out and tis movie is a ducumental but the history was tell the different way than the true story was and that is why some people who were part of creating the film and for not following the true story some of them were murdered and for having disrespected a member by telling something that never happened in the true story the Mexicans were a minority population in prison and the different gangs tried to subdue them and the Mexicans had to unite and founded the M.M to protect and support so that the Mexicans in prison were respected by all the other gangs. They should not fail to respect the Mexican family of the M.M Mexican MAFIA.
@katebetancourtclc8527 I appreciate the movie recommendation 🙏 but I can tell you that I have it on here just didn't make it public yet 😁. I will be dropping it soon though and if you have any other films I could check out please list a few more out for me. Big thanks for rocking with the channel also...
@Danger_kr8vr hey thanks for hanging with me on this one 👌. Go to my movie reaction Playlist and you'll find Blood in Blood Out in there and if you have any other recommendations definitely drop a few for me 👊...
@Doggz One maaaaaaan not the orale!!! 🤦♂️😂😂... You know what I think you're the third person to recommend that film. Well guess I have no choice but to go ahead and check it out now. Reaction coming soon, I appreciate the recommendation 👌...
@damiion666 maaaaan come on mane, don't be going at the guy Miklo like that 😂😂... I just finished watching it a little while ago but it's so long I have to drop it in 2 parts but the first part on the way....
@damiion666 I feel you mane after watching it I can see how some people may feel the way you do but ay mane you can't compare some things with others you know what I mean... Both films in my own opinion are great they have two totally different tones for sure which is why I say you can't really say which is necessarily better out of the two but again I do get what you're saying @damiion666 and also if you have any movie recommendations please hit me with a few 👊👊...
@Dark appreciate your movie picks 🙌. I've definitely seen the classic South Central with my boy Og Bobby Johnson now that's my movie mane 😂👌. 187 I have done a reaction to, if you go through my movie Playlist on the channel in my custom Playlists you'll definitely see it but I have no clue what the movie Harsh Times is so it's definitely on my list thank you thank you 👊...
What this movie means to me hah I was in fifth grade in 2005 and growing up in California with a lot of my family members in the same city gang so I only see a bit but heard a lot so having friends and having such a vocabulary with intelligent gang members I started a crew of four of my closest friends and when I told my dad about it I used the word gang I could have used any other word like crew but with him I wanted to sound cool and be on his level so I said to him hey dad me and my friend started a gand casual like and he said no I'm not with the straightest face but not angry but a couple days past and he came home from the store with American Me trying to scare me straight but it did the opposite it made me more aware and interested in such life style and only fascinated like one would be interested in such top serial killers that's all so I ended up loving the movies thinking is was such a hardcore movie but I was always already a early HBO Cable Baby hahahah so I've seen a lot of movies I would love to share eventually or in the replies to my comment
JD is white yes and the man he is playing as is a white man who took over the Mexican Mafia true story but this movie is just a bit dramatic with it a bit to where the Mexican Mafia did not take kindly to this movie and did such hits to where cast members to this movie ended up killed during the making of the movie
@Stopmotionbird it sounds like your dad is a real one mane 😂. He supposed to take every measure as a real father to keep his kid from getting lost to them streets. I feel you on the movie doing the opposite of scaring you from gang life though, hell I wanted to be Scarface and Boston George from Blow when I watched those movies as a kid 🤦♂️😂😂... Ay and definitely list out a few movies you would like me to react to and I'll add what I haven't seen to my list 👊👊...
@Stopmotionbird wait wait wait wait what!!! 😮 you telling me in real life a white man somehow ended up running th Mexican Mafia, what time period did this take place?
its a good movie only innaccurate tho. the main character wasnt really raped in real life. homosexuality didnt happen. in that organization homosexuality will get u killed. alot of other stuff too. crazy thing is edward james olmos..the main character and director...got extorted for lying in this movie. alot of the cast also got killed for even being part of this movie. just started your video now. rolling up a blunt n gna vibe out. much love
This was actually about true life dude’s which in the joint created “La EME” Mexican prison gang who used to control the Mexican prison gangs. The white boy JD is also a real dude who was affiliated by friendship as kids and later in the joint! He had connections to the drug game with aryan n Italians
