Those deep bassy notes are not his guitar. At least not unaltered. To get such a resonance at such a high volume at such a low pitch he would need to hit his guitar with a sledgehammer. Doesn't take away from his amazing skill or performance, but you gotta be real man...
I don't know if you realized what he was doing at one point in this song. He was playing 2 different melodies at the same time his thumb strumming with 3 fingers on the strings while his pinky was on different strings playing higher notes with his fingers strumming those. WTF??
I can't play guitar nor sing but I love music and especially the guitar. Eddie V is my favorite and tons of respect for Steve Via. However, I'm pretty fricken good at air guitar but holy crap ??? I can't even air guitar this dude
Marcin Patrzałek (born October 6, 2000 in Kielce, Poland) Polish is a fingerstyle guitarist, composer and producer. I’m so surprised and happy that you reacted to Marcin. I subscribed to your channel initially because of your Ren reactions and would love to see you go down the Marcin rabbit hole. He’s absolutely phenomenal. He’s only 22 now and has been posting things on RU-vid since he was 15. The white stuff on his guitar is just tape to hold the pickup in place, nothing to do with the sound. He does have some background production on this one, all of which he does himself. I hope you do more of his videos. Everything on his channel is mind blowing and you can’t go wrong with anything you pick.
Marcin to geniusz gitary, posłuchajcie jego wykonania Moonligh sonata, Still dre Master of pupets , Baba yaga, Paganini caprice pleas, pozdrawiam z Polski 👋👍
You guys ain't seen nothing yet....check out his latest release (this video was when he was 18-19), but he's currently 22 and his current video is "Carmen Hanbanaro" (Opera)...will blow your mind !!!! Best guitarist on the planet (maybe EVER) !!! He has a long playlist...have fun and enjoy.
I had to laugh a little at your expense! 🤣I didn't really expect you to react to this and there is some wonderful symmetry in the fact that you have found Marcin. I myself started from the opposite direction Watching unique acts on Americas got talent then finding Marcins music on u-tube and then find Ren and yourself in the last 6 months. its truly weird the way this stuff happens!! Thanks for this reaction it really did make me smile , I believe Marcin is currently the best Acoustic guitarist on the planet and just to prove it a little more I would suggest two more arrangements he has done to give more of flavour. 1. Still DRE > ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-YaTUwiHYBI0.html 2. Moonlight Sonata > ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-6gQ7m0c4ReI.html Keep on exploring the great music available on u-tube rather than the factory produced stuff that is fed to us! ✊
Marcin is a prodigy and Guitar 🎸 Master. He started out very young because he explained he wanted to hear outer space 🪐 sounds. He’s a genius…and he’s improving. I like his originals 🙆🏻♀️🎶🥊💥🙌🏽🇺🇸.
ok, because you two don't know Flamenco Guitars, those are percussion protection pads to keep from damaging the thinner acoustic guitar top than a contemporary acoustic guitar. His pickup in the acoustic guitar can be programmed (I'm not certain that he actually is doing so) to certain cues to incorporate different MIDI effects as well... additionally, Kashmir is LED ZEPPELIN and NOT Stevie Ray Vaughn. Magnitudes of difference in play styles. He's literally recreating Kashmir by Led Zeppelin in his own style. He's a fucking genius!
Ok hold up here. I know Kashmir is Led Zeppelin, I think P was referencing the scales and runs during the solos. And I’m not too familiar with traditional style guitars, forgive my lack of knowledge. But I did know that it was a flamenco style guitar because that’s one of the genres I indulge in. Get to know someone before you judge my guy🙏🏽 much love
@@fozzystylezofficial ah! please excuse my brutal tone - it wasn't my intention to come across as a complete @$$. I stand corrected! I must have missed the part where @BlackPegasusRaps specifically stated the reminiscence of SRV. SRV is an iconic legend much like Steve Vai, Joe Satriani, BB King, Bo Diddley, Fats Domino and many many others. Additionally, I must have missed the expression of knowledge you two possess about Flamenco. Passing judgement is ad homenim, at no point did I attack either one of you on a character or personal level. At the end of the day, every good musician references from all walks of musicianship and life. The mere fact that you two are doing reactionaries and learning is a sign of exceptional musicianship, keep up the good work. @BlackPegasusRaps I've watched a number of your reactions, especially those "controversial" songs that seem to be taken way out of context, and I'm elated you're able to see the real picture and not falling for propaganda! Again, keep up the good work!
As an Australian, the first time I heard Marcin I immediately thought of guitarist Tommy Emmanuel. I have long been a fan of artists who include flamenco, classical, tapping and percussion in their playing style. I would love to see a collaboration between these two amazing artists.
Your guest is extremely intelligent I am Indigenous Native American and I listen to everything Internationally I can find. MARCIN is a prodigy. I love listening to new cultures from around the WORLD 🗺️. When I first watched his AGT audition…I followed him. I just love his ORIGINALS like “SALT” he composed it when he was like 14’ I believe. 🙋🏻♀️❤️🔥🇺🇸
He's a phenomenal guitarist reminds me of Tommy Emmanuel. He's been doing this since the 80's. You should check out his Classical Gas cover of Mason Williams.
OK just made a comment on your previous video which now seems a bit creepy 😂😂 I suggested Marcin’s performance of “Carmen”! I have followed Marcin for 2-3 years! This is one of my faves because I love the original by Led Zeppelin! He did Jimmy Page proud! I hope you will go down the Marcin 🐰 hole! This made my night!
Wonderful performance. Incredible musical talent. Marcin is artistry and a class in itself. It's very lucky sthat the world has such an artist. Thank you for your comment. Greetings from Poland 🔥💍✌
You need to check out JUMP, a Van Halen Classic by Mike Dawes, one man and an Acoustic guitar, there are many players like this that are truly another level. Eye opening for even us mere mortals of guitar players. Love your reactions and the guests.
THANKS FOR WATCHING YALL! I do want to clarify. I fully understand that Kashmir is a Led Zeppelin song. Led Zeppelin is one of my favorite bands of all time, I grew up with them playin all the time. I think Black P was talking about the way Marcin used scales and runs that were reminiscent of SRV. Much love y’all!🔥💙💯
Most flamenco guitarists also use their knuckles, palms and fingers to rap on the guitar. Marcin just does a lot of extra stuff that only he can do. He uses a lot of flamenco techniques too. It’s just that he’s awesome at what he does.
I suggest you start there: Master Of Puppets on One Guitar - Marcin Patrzalek (Metallica) ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-_1XQKK-eCLM.html The best arrangement of this wonderful song I have ever heard. When arranging it he was only 16 years old. Cheers
Marcin is a percussive fingerstyle guitarist. He started guitar when he was 10 years old and studied Classical Guitar. Then he studied Flamenco guitar with a teacher from Spain. The fast strumming with his right hand is called Tremelo. He incorporates elements if his classical snd flamenco in his percussive ( stiking the guitar for his rhythrms) with the fingerstyle ( tapping the strings including left hand tapping eith his right hand on the fret board). Marcin has taken the accoustic guitar playing to a new level. The OG of this style of playing was an artist named Michael Hedges back in the 1970s thru to 1996. I went to school eith Michael. However I think Marcin's technical skills on the guitar surpassed Michael. Marcin is able to perform Kashmir as well as other very impressive songs live not just a RU-vid recording. Marcin holds live Q&As with his Patreon Fans monthly and in a laid back manner performs his songs live from his kitchen. He gives his fans an opportunity to also perform during these sessions and provides positive feedback and tips to his fans. Besides being an outstanding guitarist he is very kind snd generous person as well. Please react to more of his performances. There is a wide array of genres to choose from. He will be realeasing a new album on the Sony Masters Label towards the end of 2023.
He does most of the percussion sounds just with his guitar. Search for an interview with him where he is playing live :) he will become a legend for sure!
Lol, those pads are scratch pads, they're there so that he doesn't damage the guitar while he taps it and scratches it. All sounds are natural here, no additional "plugins" or anything like that. He probably makes some post production for the sounds to sound more pleasant, like every pro musican does, but that's all. Everything you hear he does, and he performs live too, so there are no gimmicks.
The white around it is for guitar reinforcement. Hitting with force with his fingers caused the guitar to break. In October I'm going to Marcin's concert and I'm already happy.
Glad to see you reacting to Marcin! I initially started following you for your Harry Mack content, but Marcin happens to one of my other favorite artists!
Byłam na koncercie Marcina występ wyjątkowy. Oczywiście Filharmonia w Rzeszowie ma wyśmienite warunki akustyczne. Obawiam się, że nie da się takiego dźwięku uzyskać w hali widowiskowej.
He did an interview a few weeks ago. Made a signature guitar with Ibanez to assist with his style. Check it out. He has no kit. He explains the new guitar build and why
