This Song is about the Cannibal of Rothenburg - it is a Town in Germany. A friend of me was invited to a barbecue but he had no time. There is also a movie called "Rothenburg". Wicked story...
I live in Perth where Bon grew up, AC/DC are huge here, both incarnations but Bon is special, we had a Bon Scott fan club club gig in Fremantle and they had mass bag pipes play as well as bands, it was a lot of fun. 😃
This group was deep. And oftentimes, the lyrics to their songs were purposefully written for interpretation. I don't know what this one's about. If you get a chance, react to "He Knew". Many people consider this song to be about Jesus. I always thought it was. But, there is another interpretation. I would love to hear your take on "He Knew". These guys were brilliant.
I had to come back and watch this again, I loved your reaction! Especially the part where you said I've got to do more with my life! I thought that was very sweet and honest! I've finally made it to your home page, so far I'm too scared to go anywhere from there, I'm waiting for my youngest son to come over and advise me! I'll be 67 years young in 5 more days and I don't want to do something that will cause problems at this time in my life. I'd like my retirement years to be as fun and contain as much music as it can!
1981 bro lol! You were listening to a legend my guy! He’s a country man’s idol. Vietnam vet era loved him. Even today kids love him, but not like the previous Gen. Today the only men really sticking it to the man is UPCHURCH, Aldean, Aaron Lewis. They go after the globalist hard.
the BIMM music school is also in Brighton. The whole city is filled with artists and creative people. At least until they get proved out of living there soon.
Don’t sleep on Christine McVie (one of the three singers from FM). Oh Daddy, Over My Head, Songbird, Hold Me, You Make Loving Fun….all are great picks. I know Stevie gets the glory, but Christine sang lead on more Mac songs than Stevie did and, I’d argue, has a better voice. Lindsey’s stuff is great too!
I think it’s obvious that Cat Stevens is the son… He needs to escape the expectations of his father… You and your daughters will be fine, if you ignore the “father” in this song…
Aside from living many years in Jersey, I was totally spoiled. Bruce Springstein, guitarist Steven Van Zandt and drummer Max Weinberg, Bon Jovi, Richie Sambora, Clarence Clemons, Frankie Valli and the 4 Seasons all were local musicians who used to play in local clubs in and around Freehold, Sayreville, Perth Amboy and the Jersey Shore on a regular basis.
Smokey Robinson and The Miracles did the original release of this song. Smokey and two members of The Miracles wrote this song. Another good cover of this song is by Johnny Rivers.
Bon Scott was Scottish and so are Angus and Malcolm Young, three were all born there. I saw them 50yrs ago in Scotland and 4 times in Australia..they were absolutely amazing every time 👍❤❤🏴❤🏴 R.I.P Bon and Malcolm 🙏🙏
Honestly, country and R&B are so connected. They’re all about heart, soul, and a story. It’s no wonder country singers have taken R&B songs and turned them into country and R&B singers have done the same to country music (…of course I Will Always Love You comes to mind…). I love Kenny Rogers and this is one of my favorite songs sung by Kenny, Lionel, and both together.
🇨🇦 "All the music I have listened to" ?? IMO the Best music created, written, played or sung in the last Century, was performed between 1959 and 1989, and you have not even scratched the surface yet ! I will give you a random example ! Try reacting to "White Rabbit" by Jefferson Airplane (the Woodstock version) and then realise that you have another 40 years of reacting still to go ! 🇨🇦
Waylon Jennings gave up his seat on the plane that killed buddy Holly, the big bobber, and Richie, it was a coin flip he lost, but he said I hope your plane crashes... Well he lived with that Burton til he died
