Yes you are a rapper, I am a metalhead and Manowar music unites us. Eric Adams the singer is 72 years old and he still sounds amazing live. You should do more Manowar reactions.
One of the biggest things about metal is the unity. You go to a show like this and you're gonna walk out with 20 new friends. Everyone having a great time, headbanging, maybe having a drink or two, and enjoying the wall of sound. And you're totally right. The point of Warriors of the World are every person from every nation uniting under the love of metal.

I had always heard about the great community of metal fans. But I got to experience it first hand at the Ayreon shows last September. Different genre, being Prog Metal, but there were people from over 60 nations in Tilburg and the community was awesome. I'm still in contact with a lot of the people from around the world that I met there. And I've back to the Netherlands semi regularly since then for other concerts and to meet up with some of the Dutch people I met there. Really looking forward to the next Ayreon shows in 2025 to meet some of the international people again.
@@duffaliasFits perfectly to Power Metal, but these are opinions every metal fan has. Btw, Power Metal is lovingly also nicknamed as "Kikkeli Metalli" aka Wilie/Penis Metal here in Finland, because the male singers sing so high that you would think that their balls stuck between bench vice...
Well that's it. Did you like the story ? - Yeah, it was great ! - Oh Good, I'm glad. Now off to bed with you. - Grandfather ? - Yes ? - Who were those four men ? - Who were they ? They were the Metal Kings !!!!!!
80 yo here and still a headbanger (when I don't pass out) 😁😁 Manowar, Avantasia, Dragonforce, Petra and Blind Guardian are a few of my favs, Also love your channel. I watch everyday. Metal forever.
ManOwaR are all about uniting. They call their fans their Brothers... and they make it very clear that we are all brothers. All countries united... under the banner of "Metal". They have rebelled against the "false ones". Those that "follow fashions flow"... The battle is always raging and Manowar absolutely are all about bringing everyone together. Their songs are all about swords and combat. Battles and overcoming but there is a lot of real world metaphors put inside their songs. Got me through some real tough times as a kid... and what an honor to see you connect with this... because the message is universal .. there is no battle that can stop us when we unite. There is no chains that can hold us when we stand up to oppression and FEAR.. From the United States of America.. other bands play... Manowar Kill! Check out Battle Hymn, Blood of My Enemies or HAIL & Kill... Super powerful stuff...
My man I remember this band back in 1984. I’m Spanish black male metal head and I felt oppressed by the Cuban government and millions of people. This kind of music healed me since I was a young teenager. Believe me this is medicine for your heart and soul that’s why heavy metal is so hated wide global. Keep on rock in and don’t pay attention to the haters.
Gods of War I call thee, My sword is by my side, I seek a life of Honor, Free from all false pride. I will crack the whip, With a bold, mighty, "Hail!" Cover me with Death if I should ever fail. Glory! Majesty! Unity! Hail! Hail!! HAIL!!! 'Glory, Majesty, Unity (The Warrior's Prayer)' - Manowar
You have just opened the pandora box to the world of Manowar - the Kings of Metal! No turning back, it's the point of no return. They are 80's heavy metal band from New York but much more popular in Europe, South America and Japan. Had huge influence in metal scene inspiring many bands and sub-genres of heavy metal like power, epic and viking metal. Do a new Manowar reaction each day and you will not regret, your day will be better. As a rap fan, go next for Manowar - Violence and Bloodshed from their 1987 album Fighting the World and you will be very very surprised about its sound.
I am not even gonna argue the Kings of Metal statement... I just wanna ad; How bloody lucky are we; From Manowar to Iron maiden, Priest, Sabbath etc etc etc. We just got some great music to chant!!
More ManOwaR! Spirit Horse Of The Cherokee, Blood Of The Kings, The Power, Ride The Dragon, Hail And Kill, Outlaw, Dark Avenger, Secret Of Steel, Each Dawn I Die, Sign Of The Hammer, Heart Of Steel, Master Of The Wind, Defender, The Power Of Thy Sword... They have so many great songs!
Manowar is amazing. You should definitely check out some of their other songs. Great story tellers. Lead singer has amazing vocal range. Check Blow Your Speakers and some other of their songs. You will love them.
They were my first concert ever, about 35 years ago in Cascais, Portugal. It was crazy, they almost blew up the place, you could feel the pavilion shaking. Eric Adams is such a beast and Joey’s bass is like thunder. Magic times. They weren’t very appreciated in the states or at least so they stated, but they were really big in Europe. Their earlier stuff is golden.
It is so comforting to know that some of the younger generation is not buying into the BS going on. This song kicks ass, but listen to Blow Your Speakers... Love it loud!
MANOWAR fans call ourselves "Immortals", but the band calls us "Brothers". We are all Brothers of Steel, and MANOWAR has been uniting us since the 80'ies. They have their own universe, made of fantasy battles, courage, honour, unity and brotherhood. Every song is an epic story. Even the "warrior" on the imagery is a painting from a very famous artist that was struck by their power (Royo I think). That "hand holding the wrist of the other arm making a fist" is the "Sign of the Hammer". Welcome to the family, Brother of Steel !
First band I ever went to see, in 1984 it was. Deaf for 5 days! The power of true metal. Second time I saw them, they blew the speakers at Hammersmith Odeon - The Bonfire Night Wreckage! Awesome band. Listen to 'The Crown and The Ring'. When Princess Diana died I wrote the lyrics in her book of remembrance. Listen to 'Mountains', and 'Gates of Valhalla'. This is serious warrior music. KINGS OF METAL KINGS OF METAL KINGS OF METAL
One of my favorite metal bands ever! Here are some suggestions for your next manowar reaction: Dark Avenger Blood Of My Enemies Blow Your Speakers Shell Shock Guyana Kingdom Come The Power Of Thy Sword Hail And Kill
That's what's up! Manowar is my favourite metal band, and virtually unknown in America. It's crazy that you found these guys - so stoked you dig them. Subscribed immediately.
this was the band that finally got me into metal "Kings of Metal album".....just found my 94 tour shirt the other day.....I later went towards heavier stuff. but still get nostalgic when I hear them
you got it right, it is about the small guys standing together, fighting together. I have been to alot of shows, and i have never seen any violence at a manowar show, all are friends.
I saw them live when i was in my early teens . Virgin Steele opened for them in New York. They are awesome. My favorite is Spirit horse of the Cherokee. I love the whole album this is from . I still have my vinyl . Lol I'm 54 and still love all genres of rock . I love when people listen to the classics.
Great reaction! I love Manowar! Another reaction i really would like to see is Sabaton - En livstid i krig LIVE, with the lyrics/translation turned on. I promise, that one gives some sick gosebumps as well!
Bro, that's EXACTLY how Manowar makes me feel. And I'm traveling abroad for the first time to feel like way live...in February...in Iceland. Viking-driven metal where the Vikings ruled!
Again, music unites. I’m 48 and I’ve been a fan since I was 16. I’ve seen them live, I was able to meet them and hang when they did an in-store meet and great in Chicago. You need a lot more Manowar in your life. I love Eric Adam’s voice and Joey DeMaio is a beast on the bass. You need more Manowar in your life. Hail and kill! 🤘
I found this band in high school and growing up a Conan The Barbarian fan, the line, “with dreams to be a King, first one should be a MAN!” always struck a chord with me. Great Metal, and words for all people to live by…
Hail from Germany. You are absolutely right. ManowaR stands for freedom, unity and that everyone has to fight their own battles in life. I am 35 and have been listening to this band since I was 14. There is no other band in the world that makes such emotional yet powerful music. In my most difficult times, this music was always there for me and helped me to carry on. No matter how dark the night was. you are the perfect example of how music can connect across genres.
I feel like a very lucky man, because I got to see them live in 2005 in the Czech Republic at the Masters of Rock festival, where they gave a nearly 3 hour concert with a symphonic orchestra. About 80 thousand people went wild :)
Thanks for your reaction channel and honest opinions. Manowar are incredible. Cheers for making a positive and engaging channel that embraces all forms of music. Hail my Brother!
Manowar are from MYC and have been around since 1980. They are a huge influence modern Metal bands and have some of the most dedicated fans. I'm 54 and I discovered them in high school and to this day they are still my favorite band. You should check out a cover of this song by a band called Feuerschwanz, it's also a very good version.
Your midpart Summary was great. Absolutely loved it. The cool thing about metal is: Where ever you go... big concert, small concert, in a hall or open air... or on a festival: Metal people are the most chilled and welcoming species walking on god's green earth. It is and was always a pleasure to be part of the crowd. For Manowar: My 1st album I bought was "Fighting the world" in 1987 and I still have to smile when I think of the sound and my aunt nearly felled from her chair... but she let me play it over and over again. One thing about the video (I may be wrong): The audience is a summary from their world tour, but the stage is in Brasil (and btw: as a German: The energy in South America is on another level).
Manowar, such an awesome and crazy group! they seriously loved metal, and it shows in their music and performances. They were a bit eccentric to be full mainstream, but their popularity contrasted this. insanely fun and great metal! they're music is just raw power. your right, perfect music to get pumped up with for training, lifting, whatever. a few other great licks to listen to : Hail and Kill, The gods made heavy metal, Kingdom come, blood of kings. All serious power songs.
You have got to watch the Feuerschwanz cover of this, as musician you will love it. Also your mate the video specialist will adore the video / cheers from Australia
Bruv. Even as a rapper you understood the essence of the song perfectly right away. This shows that we are all, ALL, united in this struggle for being true and real! Maximum brofist from Russia!
All there music is to there fans they stand for their fans but their fans stand for the all there music kickass and they've been around since the 80's and are still rocking to this day
Got to experience ManOWar back in 1987. Don't remember a lot of the show, but it was without the multimedia presentation shown here. I do remember the sight of kids walking around the venue in jeans, the boys, and miniskirts for the girls, and classical music playing, in between sets. Apparently, the Bass Player wrote most of the songs, and he does have some real chops.
Back in the 90's their U.S. based fan club was small enough that they could personally reply to letters. Joey DiMaio (69, bass) and Eric Adams (71, vocals) are the only members of the original line-up who are still alive, and the band is still active, having announced a 2025 European tour. Their song, Defender, is still my favorite.
I get it brother! I had the same thoughts when I heard this song for the first time! MANOWAR also has a song called “The Fight for Freedom” it’s a battle cry like no other!
Yes, I'm old... but I've listening to Manowar since they first came out. I've never heard a song from them that I didn't like "Die with Honor" is pretty good also and it in the same vein as "Warriors of the World United" .
