Seriously, I appreciate your reaction. You guys,compared to others out there, who have opinions that are just disrespectful and can be racist because he is an Asian man. But you guys saw more than what others would see. You saw his talent,his music. Really happy that you enjoyed it and l sure as hell know that as ARMY, the Fandon name for BTS(Augst D is a one of 3 rappers in the group,he goes by suga in the group aswell, the combinations of the words shooting guard, his favorite position on basketball, also Augst D is suga spelt backwards with the addition of the words DT meaning Daegu Town,which is his home town in South Korea). Once again, thank you for being respectful and loving this man's music, btw he is a producer as well, so you can bet he is involved in his craft. Hope that you check the rest of the group out, too. There are 7 people in total. 3 rappers and 4 vocalists.Though I'm sure that people in the comments will direct that to you guys!

Agust D aka Suga of BTS aka Min Yoongi is a genius. Daechwita is him killing off his greedy, cruel part of himself, Haegum is showing the guy who killed the king becoming corrupt and he is killed again by the better version of himself, and Amygdala is him telling us how Agust D came to life. Honestly, he writes and produces really deep music and it goes hard. His new album, D-Day is great. So many bangers! 💜

He is a member of BTS, all of his and their work is self produced. The group consists of 7 members, they have 3 rappers, Agust D being one of them. His name is Yoongi but his stage names are Suga and Agust D. I highly recommend checking out a color coded lyric video of UGH! By BTS.

So happy to hear the appreciation for Agust D aka Suga because he truly deserves the recognition. He truly is an artist, the lyrics and the beats. He writes and produces (he even produces for other artists as well), he plays piano and guitar, he knows what he wants for his videos, he truly got IT.

There are a lot of good rappers in KPOP. For me it's BTS 3 Rappers that are the best. These boys live and breathe Hip-hop. Every song has a message even their light songs will have a message in it to uplift people. Talking about going so high that they can't go any higher... Remember that Agust D/Suga and his bandmates in BTS are from a small country of South Korea and they mainly sing and rap in Korean. They debuted in 2013 in a world where global artists sing in English. They had never dreamed of getting as popular as they are today. This song was released in 2020, when they were already doing stadium tours all over the world, selling them out in hours. So it was only natural to wonder back then, how much higher could they go? End yet higher they did go. Later in 2020 they scored their first #1 Billboard song with Dynamite, which catapulted their popularity even more, and they went on to have five more #1 songs, and one of the members, Jimin, also had a #1 song as a soloist just a couple of weeks ago. They have also nabbed 5 nominations at the Grammys. They have spoken at the UN and invited to the White House. And they're not showing signs of slowing down. Although they have to pause their group activities due to having to do their mandatory military service (two of them have enlisted so far), they're putting out solo work ahead of their service and so far each of them have been top quality music, as you've seen yourself. They're getting recognition as solo artists and they will come back stronger when they reconvene as a group in 2025.

That MV set is for Chosun Dynasty I think. It's the year between 1392-1910. So it's not really his hometown but you are close. That's the Korean traditional stuff (the instrumental, the clothes and background)

In Daechwita (the king’s military marching music) SUGA/AgustD is at war within himself. There’s part of him that’s part of the corporate structure and wants all of the money, fame, power and control. And he’s at war with the rebel side of himself who just wants to say fuck it, fuck you and fuck everyone. You’ll see this played out again the Haegum from a different angle. And you HAVE to listen to his mix tapes to really understand that the war within himself is real and deep. Then Amygdala and D-Day will make a lot more sense. Great reaction guys. Thank you!

This is one of my favorite music videos ever, it’s just so cinematic and I love the colors and everything. It came to the end I was literally on the edge of my seat when he was being taken what looked like he was going to get beheaded while AGUSTD is showing off his sword skills then Suga takes the gun shooting the dark side of himself like a boss 😎 I noticed he used some beats with allot of phrases that he did in their BTS comeback trailer interlude: SHADOW. When I saw the scar, I remembered how much he loves scarface and reminds me abit of scar from lion king with mortal kombat vibes. At the end, SUGA is basically saying goodbye to his past because he’s ready to move on to a new chapter of his life. *Daechwita is a korean form of marching music that old armies used as they marched into battle or kingly procession; his old & current self fighting for domination over his present life. Im not sure how true this is but during his first mixtape its said he makes many references on how SUGA (stage name) kills MIN YOON-GI (birthname) which is his true identity. Now, present AGUST D kills off the king and SUGA steps down from royalty (if i’m not mistaken), last emperor of the country. *The concept/theme is a traditional dynasty where the long hair is indication of wealth and Agust D shown dressed in authentic kingly garments, It was also strongly frowned upon or forbidden for anyone with scars could never be royalty but with this track & music video breaks that stereotype by having Agust D shown with a large visible vertical scar on his eye which expresses even people with scars can be royal on top of showing how powerful his presence is which reminds me of kdrama Scarlet Heart: Ryeo 4th prince where he had a scar but became king despite of it but I also remember how much Suga loves Scarface.* …..

BTS does appreciate & pay homage to many rappers & groups in Hip Hop Phile / Hip Hop Lover..live version is great. RM's Joke is also quite a flow experience if you haven't listened to it yet.
