I went to Suga/Agust D's concert last night... and when he spit that bar about their concerts not having empty seats, that's facts. That arena was packed full last night, with lines blocks long hours before they even opened the doors. No empty seats.
@@Imme_begin If you went to a BTS concert believe you me. You definitely wouldn't feel out of place. I was dragged by my niece and her friends to a BTS concert in New Jersey and I had a blast. There was every age there. I'm so honored to be part of the BTS family of Armies. A dozen biker guys were there and they had us all on our feet. There was no sitting down with these guys. I'm 59 and when I left there I felt like I was in my early teens.
thanks for another bts reaction. 'mic drop' was a very good diss'' to all the haters and whats so funny is bts is still dominating and smashing the music industry to this day. they have several songs that throw 'shade on the haters', their song lyrics will always express their personal feeling to the world. their global musical achievements are on another level and they have surpassed every past and current musical artist ever in history. their musical longevity and stats are beyond belief. thank you for going down the rabbit hole.💜
As a diss track, this one is pretty mild compared to their earlier stuff. This was written in 2017, when they no longer feeling any hate or anger towards their haters. Compare this to the aggressive tone of RM's "Joke" (2015), which you've seen, as well as songs like Agust D's "Agust D" (2016) or the rapline's cyphers (2013-2016).
Ddaeng, Ugh, Bbappsae (Silver Spoon), Boy In Love, Come Back Home, Cyphers 1, 2, 3, 4, Ma City, Paldogangsan, Don't Leave Me, Danger, Intro: Persona, Don't Leave M, Hip Hope Phile, Interlude: Shadow, Outro:Tear, Boy Meets Evil, Run BTS Suga's Agust-D mixtapes, album D-Day; J-Hope's Jack in the Box album, RM's mixtape, RM's Joke, Do You, Monster... are just some of BTS' iconic rock/hiphop mixes. The list is long. Hope you can hear some of them. ✌
Mic Drop was inspired by Barrack Obama’s speech where he dropped the mic at the end of it. Please do Hip Hop Phile live the song pays homage to a lot of rappers that inspired & influenced them. Love watching y’all reaction. Stay blessed!
Wooohoooo🎊🎉🎊🎉🎈🎈I knew you'd love this one!!! Thanks for reviewing it guys!! I know I've asked a hundred times and Thank you!! It one of my favorites 😊 Appreciate it guys!! ❤💜💜💜💜💜💜💜❤
I heard a part of this song on the radio in 2018 - that's all it took! But the Dance Practice is my favorite - you get to see the WHOLE dance with TWO dance breaks with backup dancers!! And you'll really get to see Jungkook dance - since you've already seen Jimin and j-hope. JK and V are the other half of the "dance line".
This song & MV made me an instant lifelong fan. I had never heard anything like it before...nor have I heard anything like it since. I never get tired of it. It’s a masterpiece imho.
I like to think of Mic Drop as the perfect song to start people on to intro them to BTS. It’s perfect for people who like this vibe of song. And there is nothing more attractive than a bit of swagger. They are pretty humble most times so I love this. It’s just enough. Great review. Glad you were going right over to the dance practice.
One of my favorite videos is the BTS Intro Performance Trailer (ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-S1Up-ZzHmuw.html). I think you guys would love it. If someone would, please explain to them what the 'good', 'better', etc. means. I don't know which show they were on when the bad camera work happened. Thank you! 💜
They did a live performance of this song a few years back when rumors kept going around that they don’t sing live. During that performance at the end of Yoongi’s (Suga) part he holds the mic down and smirks at the camera as it proves they were performing live ☺️
Next reaction VOB "ENTER SANDMAN" Metalica cover VOB BAND ROCK TRIO HIJABERS from 🇮🇩 VOB consert LIVE AT FRANCE TRANS MUSICALES DE RENNES 2021👍 VOB AMAZING super talented ♥️🤟
Hi, so if you're not getting likes, it's most likely because you're smoking while viewing the MVs. Don't forget a lot of young ppl watch too, and we don't want to promote Marijuana, I'm an adult so it's whatever but you should smoke before watching the video. Just a little friendly advice.
Blood sweat and tears with explanation Is an important step to understant BTS... please react to this MV and dance practice they are awesome and you are perfect for this....please💜💜💜💜
Thanks for the reaction. Mic Drop live performances recruited tons of new ARMY, they're dance beasts. BUT let me tell you, lyrically BTS specially the rap line can go HARDER AND MEANER than this one. Check up the Cyphers series (4 songs addressed to their haters), more of Agust D, RM and J-hope's solo songs. The level of disrespect! Like ARMY always says: - SUGA (Agust D) will tell you you're shit. - RM will explain why you're shit. - j-hope will tell you it's ok to be shit.
I haven't seen anyone mention BTS trophy wall which is about 3 stories high...displayed at their headquarters. They ain't joking when they say that got so many they can't count 😂❤
This was the mv that made me continue down the rabbit hole and after seeing the performance for 2017 MAMA it was over- I was hooked. Hope you are both enjoying the dive into BTS , their songs and amazing choreo. HAVE FUN!
This one thevery few times they flat out told haters whats good lol our bangtan boys always humble & higher road wit lol but this one & a cpl otha times they let em kno🙏
Hi, I am back. Good reaction. ty. Mic Drop: It's a slap in the face for their haters by saying they're at a point where it doesn't matter what you say because your words don't matter anymore. It's also a flex song by pointing out how many trophies they have because at this point they'd need a U-Haul to get them all. Just for an example, in Korea there are weekly music shows by various stations and the winner gets a trophy. Their song Dynamite has 36 (I think) award show wins and that's without any promotion on their end. Fun fact: Mic Drop was inspired by President Obama's mic drop when he left office. =0] Love this song. So catchy. Great choreo too. They added a dance break to this one for an award show. There is a practice video for that. And they have performed this song with the new choreo for a while now. I saw another live with it. It is a perfect addition to the original choreo though they just made it harder as usual. =0p So glad u loved this song like I do. Hugs. Stay safe. Love u both! -NY USA Army💟 Imajin all the purple said on 2/17/22 - Fun fact: When Suga drops the mic live it's an extra fake mic and Jin taps his mic for the sound. 🤭 - This is from the famously fandom-nicknamed "Dior performance". Their outfits were specially created for each of them for this tour by one of Dior's youngest, hippest designers, Kim Jones who really likes them. - I can't wait for you to dive further into the rap line... Mic Drop is sort of the 5th Cypher which is why they say "the last farewell". They were just done with addressing the haters. 😏😎 - The Dior Performance of Outro: Tear is a rap line must. The song is from when they thought about disbanding and their emotions really show. 💔
Love you guys for giving us a really great commentary. You are absolutely right about nobody in the game who can match them. Thank you for that. What I love about this video, is how they held it together, even when they had exploding cars behind them.
Yay, Mic Drop! And oldie but goodie. Song for all the haters. This came out when they were already performing here in the US, I believe they performed this on Jimmy Kimmel.
If you enjoyed this, I think you will really enjoy the live performance of Mic Drop on SNL. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-jSFIwS2b-kg.html
Actually, their are children, and young teens that watch BTS reactions, if you could not smoke on the videos, it would be much appreciated and you'd probably get more views
Yep this Mix is what got me into BTS. You're right, a great mixture of vibes showcasing each member and they bring it all together so seamlessly. I'm loving watching you guys get to know them 💜😎
Please watch the live performance too.Its epic. Thank you so much for the reaction. Most reactors do surface level reactions and its so discouraging to watch but I thank God I finally found a channel that actually cares about what they are watching.Thank you👏👏👏👏💜💜💜💜💜💜
Essa música é toda em coreano originalmente mas pro remix/MV eles resolveram colocar mais frases em inglês pros haters entenderem melhor 😂 (obviamente tem essa versão no álbum também)
If this is your type of vibe please watch BTS "Not Today". BTS is just one of a kind because they have so many genres you can't just put them in a box. I noticed everytime they come out with a new song it is something different and then on top of that they are involved in every aspect of the song from the writing, producing and choreography and more. If you are also into Blues and Jazz you should see BTS House of Cards Live.
Keep in mind this was remixed 90% English and 5% Korean, they seamlessly switch back and forth between the languages. Their original MIC DROP is full korean and Steve Aoki just created a remix version which he does get credit for as well as being featured in the MV but he does own the song itself.
I'm not really into rap so if this had been my introduction to BTS, it would never had peaked my interest. Thankfully it wasn't 😂 The best Mic Drop is the live performance where they are dressed in suits. The contrast is just 👌
2:26 Believe it or not #SteveAoki is almost 50 and still going strong in DJing and music producing. His surname is spelled like A-oki (if im not mistaken) … he’s american japanese.
Great reaction and the breakdown. And the aknowlegement and respect to BTS is valued. The memebr you keep mentioning as bringing attitude is V. Cant wait fir you to explore v"s solo work and music and his stage presence. Of course also to check out each member. Every member is special making it, always hard to have biases. 😅
