When you mentioned kpop having the best dancers it reminded me of how Suga described kpop in a Grammy interview. He said (paraphrasing) kpop is different from western pop in that kpop is both an auditory and visual experience where the focus is not just the music but the dancing/choreography, fashion, and video storytelling and production. Its no secret kpop has the most elaborate music videos. 💜

BTS is untouchable when it comes to being razor sharp and synchronized in dance. Their style has been called “Kalgunmu”, made from Kal meaning knife and gunmu meaning group dance, which means to dance perfectly in sync. The fact that they’ve always been given some of the hardest choreo in the industry, and have KILLED IT every time is crazy!

When I first got into BTS from Nov 2021, I binge watched all their dance performances! They are absolutely perfect. I grew up on Michael Jackson and Janet Jackson (I went to her Velvet Rope Tour concert). They were my ultimate idols! BTS is up there 🤩

Yeah. So many people in music industry write off kpop as 'teeny bopper' music, rather than realizing how many people around the world love BTS. American music industry is going to lose their place at the top of the industry within 5-6 years unless they get it together and open their minds to the type of entertainment people are craving.

you know what makes this all the more remarkable? they had literally 2 bucks as a budget back in those days, 1 buck just to eat the other for props and clothes that's it and they were dancing like their lives depended on it which could make sense right?. They still have that same passion after 13 years since they started training. No one comes even close to Bangtaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan!! I better stfu before I get real messy

Спасибо за реакцию! Вы упомянули про сложность хореографии на траве. Тот кто вам это написал, ошибся. Это не трава, это песок и зелёный фильтр съемки. Кстати, по песку даже ходить не просто, не то что танцевать. Посмотрите закадровые семки клипа, там без цветовых фильтров место достаточно мрачное и пасмурная, погода с дождем. Ребята сильно замёрзли и промокли пока снимали клип, одним кадром.

Actually I don't know about K Pop in general cuz these guys are the only ones I watch. I've tried watching others, but lost interest quickly. It's just these guys who do it for me😊and their dancing is over the top good! 💜 It's always fun for me to watch you enjoy it! You're really getting so familiar now. I love it when you know who's part you're missing cuz it's not part of the clip. You learn fast!

They truly are the best! In the early practices Bang PD would view the practice film frame by frame to ensure they were all aligned correctly. Each body part had to be in sync with each other. They were even trained where their eyes had to look at a specific location. Suga and Jimin talked about this in a fairly recent interview. Each of them were dedicated to being the best and would practice alone beyond the normal practice. Great reaction!!! 💜🫰🏽🫶🏽😊

They had prepared this performance and went all out and the show they performed it at aired it horribly. They filmed it from a distance and showed hardly any of the choreography. So Big Hit decided to record and upload the performance themselves (for themselves and the fans) - this is why throughout the video you will see 'good camera' and so on. It was Big Hit's way of saying 'This is how you film a dance performance!' It was just one of the ways BTS was done dirty on shows in their early days/years. @@tretvfrmdabx2544 No problem, there's another video called BTS dance breaks easy to hard, very similar to this one. BTS are so dedicated they make it look easy. On a programme recently they said they would practice to the point they would record, press pause to even check their finger placements. They spent hours in the dance studio and it really shows, they hard work, blood, sweat and tears to please army. Even that wasn't good enough for their vile haters.
