He’s the main vocalist, rapped early on and intermittently, a lead dancer, just opened FIFA’s World Cup last fall as his solo debut. 🎉 JK is also the youngest -he’s referred to as the Golden Maknae (Mahg nay) because he’s great at everything and maknae means youngest sibling.

The one thing about BTS is that every single one of their members stands out. Just like you've mentioned in past videos. They all bring their own unique energy. If they weren't a group I think every single one of them was born to be a star no matter what they did in life. Even watching this older video, which I actually haven't seen, I'm new to BTS too (2yrs now), even tho they aren't worldwide famous here I can see it and feel it in their performance. Most groups only 1 or 2 stand out but every single one stand out to me.
Where are you from? In my country they aren't that famous either sadly enough. I mean, Butter, Dynamite and My Universe had decent radio play but other than that... Like, a lot of people here don't even know that Dynamite is a song from BTS. They know the song when they hear it, but they have no clue it's BTS. Belgium has no taste really.

I love that my bias Jungkook catches your eye. He’s truly talented is so many ways. They all are but he’s just got that IT factor that draws our attention. He’s a nice boy who’s also the little rebel, he the youngest and like many youngest do, they push the envelope. To tell him apart now, he’s the one with piercing and tattoos (visible). For a long time he had to cover his tattoos because culturally it’s not the thing but eventually he just showed it. Haha
The guy in the front is Jungkook or Kookie as his fans call him, He is one of the best dancers (along with J-hope and Jimin). He was maybe 16 years old at this time and he has come a long way... check out the the performance of Dreamers when he performed by himself at the start of the Soccer World Cup.. He has come a long way!!!! BUT he was always very good!
Danger is SO good 🔥🔥 It's like a mix of Hip-hop, R&B and has some rock elements too. I love it. And yes, I've noticed a lot of people mentioning, especially in this MV, that it reminds them of Michael Jackson

I am right there with ya. I love their early stuff. They were hungry and it showed. But what really drew me in is that their early music reminded me of old school hip hop, R&B and Rap. Newer artist lost it and I really don’t like the newer stuff like I did back then. BTS got me listening again not only to their stuff but older artists. I love how they pay homage to the original artists, style and music. Thanks for sharing your journey with us! 🫰

It doesn't have a music video but please check it out, I think you'll love it both just how it sounds but then the lyrics from rookie BTS was fire and no lies but could be seen ballsy for a new group but as I said, all truths in the lyrics. He was talking as about the voice, not choreography/moves. For sure, very rarely idols sound like MJ in K-pop though. Jimin and MJ just coincidentally came across as having the same unique high voices.
@@nightshadow73 Most would sound like an r&b singer or balladeer, MJ's voice is too unique. Noone does those cry-like, high falsettos and husky panting voice like MJ.
These were all my jam when I got into them in 2014! Can't believe time flies! It's also crazy they they kept me captivated all these years but now it's not just their music but I also root then as people. Loving these reactions!
Yea it is definitely their early stuff that gets you hooked going down the rabbit hole. It’s just hard to believe they were putting out such quality music as a young group so you just want to hear more and more or at least that’s how they got me 😂 and it was a mixture of English and Korean which brought about a new challenge to learn more about it. Don’t get me wrong, I am a fan of their current music absolutely but they had so many bops back then that it’s hard not to get swept into listening to their whole discography. Fun fact: when V was filming the scene of him cutting his hair, he had extensions that he was to cut for his bangs but he messed up and actually cut some of his real hair lol
RM & Suga have said before that they wanted to make music that people would still want to listen even years later. I've been a fan of BTS since 2013 and I'm still bopping to all their earlier songs. I like that with BTS I get a whole spectrum of music to match my moods. So blessed :)

Thank you for your reaction. It is understandable that you haven't heard of them before. The radio/tv stations always play the same songs. The one they get payed for by the companies to play. That is why it is amazing that Jimin from BTS with his song Like Crazy was number 1 on Billboard without any radio spins etc. Only by buying albums/streaming. So really by selling and buying not by radio play. So Billboard changed the rules the week after. They made radio play more important. Although a lot of people don't listen to the radio anymore because, you only get to hear what they want you to hear. If you request a song that you personally like they won't play it! That's how it works. Souplesse keep on enjoying yourselves and discovering how good RM Suga JHope Jin Jungkook V Jimin in their solo projects but, together as BTS they are on another level. He doesn’t rap much anymore but he has some solo songs you should check out. Dreamers, Still With You, Euphoria, Begin, and My Time are my recommendations 💜💜💜
That is JK at point. He is the main vocalist, the golden maknae, the boy is bad! He was born BAD and he was still in his teens at this time. They all BAD, it’s in their DNA. JK was about 17, they were all “babies”. Fellas keep up the good work, y’all 🔥🔥. Love the respect you show for BTS.

Considering how much you guys enjoy the dance practices, I'm sure you'll have a good time with the Danger dance practice. Also, they show clips of baby Bangtan performing it in The Rise of Bangtan and you get to hear the ARMY fanchants with it. That always makes the performances more hyped for me. Great reaction! I love that you are paying attention to lyrics and responding to it all. I am an old hiphop head and BTS’s old songs are some of my favorites too. BTS mixed up my genre meter though. Now they have me loving everything they do and even crying at their ballads. My favorite genre now is BTS. They are a genre of their own. ARMY for life💜

I really recommend their debut song "no more dream", it is in the same lane and has very good meaning! Also I can recommend "spinebreaker", "silver spoon" and "no" if you want to see them address social issues If you just want to see their rappers be tough while also technically very very good, you can check "Ugh", Cyphers (best are 2-4, in the first they are kinda inexperienced and you can hear that), as well as "Outro: Tear", which is also rap, but much more personal.
