This is the music narcos listen to and something people dont know is that cartels actually pay the artists to make those songs. If you hear a song about a narco, they ordered it and paid the artist to make it. This one El Bélicon is about el Nini (boss of security for Chapos sons)

@@Drendcolez well yeah but people only make corridos about los Chapitos to be hyped, or really close friends of some boss, but chapitos don't pay, now, the one's who really pay are los del sombrero, Don Mayo people, they do pay. That's what most singers say.

If you ever worked with Mexicans I can guarantee you was hearing some narco songs without even knowing it. This song El Belicon is for a sicario who works for el chapo's sons and it's basically his way of talking his shit describing what he does and who he is. It's pretty common in Mexico for narcos to commission singers to sing songs about them. These type of songs are usually in a form of a corrido.

If you want to delve deeper into this genre of corridos I recommend Tolin Infante - Edgardo Nuñez or Luis R Conriquez - Por Clave El Doble R but if you want more Peso Pluma I'd recommend the song PRC

Corridos are very dark and heavy brother, they sound happy asf (and many are) but if u see us mxno’s bumping the music, now you know. Why you think so many mxns f*cm w rap bro ! Same shit. The newer stuff like AMG , PRC, is getting more trappy (but still cartel-vibes) but the older stuff is a lot more about the actual cartels (El Chapo, El Señor de los cielos, torturing 😅, etc etc) Glad you enjoy keep it up bro.

Corridos are pretty much stories of real life events or real life people. In Mexico corridos started back in the day. Some people didn’t know how to read so corridos would be sang to spread the news of real life events, heroes, villains, crimes and everything else in between.
