Don't mind you pausing it, that's cool, but when you restart, skip back 5 seconds with the arrow keys because you keep missing jokes when you pause! Great reactions to great videos. Bob and the inbetweeners are the bomb!
I didn't notice much of that in this particular video but have noticed it in a couple of others. We need to remember that we know exactly where we'd laugh, it's not universal though, sometimes it's not it's been missed, it's just that line that sets us off doesn't hit a reactors funny bone quite the same. As long as I'm watching a genuine reaction and not the reactors who exagerate I can live with that disappointment 👍. You can genuinely see from his face that this one really amused and entertained.
Let him do what he wants if u wanna watch it uninterrupted watch the origanal i watch his channel to see how us blokes are liking british comedy and learning stuff bless them
@@Nordorf Agreed. And another rookie mistake. And so easy to fix these days with affordable clean-working gear via Amazon, and the plethora of RU-vid tutorials out there on the very subject. There's a reason why video editors use over-ear closed-back headphones-to catch stuff like that. It takes a truly remarkable reactor to get a sub out of me with that kind of crap production value. I've pointed it to other reactors who've come back with excuses. "You don't understand-it's really hot here." Well, don't make videos, then-just enjoy your fan, I guess. The long-established fact is, unprofessional sound=bad product, end of discussion. You could have a $70,000 ARRIRAW camera rig with Roger Deakins behind it, and if your audio is crap, you failed. Talk to any film/media professor or professional. And 80% of them out there are flogging their freakin' Patreon. Imagine the gall of asking people to pay money out of their paychecks every month to listen to a loud, over-compressed fan . . .
I think there a two types of comedian. Those who are funny all the time, and those who are only funny in front of an audience. Those who see comedy as natural as breathing, and those who see it as a paycheck because they have the talent and luck to understand and use Funny. Bob Mortimer, in my opinion, is definitely one of those people who are going to be funny all the time. With everyone. And whilst many of the greatest comedians are brilliant yet sulky crafters of most of the best humour, you'd not want to share a train journey with one of them, compared to someone like Bubbly Bob. What a great guy. PS: I'll be travelling on the Skegness to Mucklethwaite trainline this Tuesday afternoon in case any comedians are interested. All hilarious company welcome. NOTE. Circus clowns do not count as "hilarious company". I'm not going through that again!
Even away from panel shows,Bobs a delight to watch alongside Paul Whitehouse in the angling/fishing to series they do,just relaxing whilst fishing and reminiscing with light comic anecdotes and insights about their lives
You have to see The Fast Show which features Paul Whitehouse. It’s a sketch show which features the same characters in each episode, usually with a catchphrase at the end.
I like that Paul Whitehouse (after having his own heart problems) reached out to Bob after his heart problems and invited him to go fishing. Its a wonderful chilled out TV show
Rhod Gilbert, Henning When and Greg Davies are all also fantastically funny on would I lie to you, there are compilations of all of them too. Would love to watch you react to those
Tarantulas are great pets. Had a rosie the size of my hand, and have big hands..... got it used to being touched without attack posture, after a while with gloves, it got used to walking, after a bit, you could just pick it up between the middle pair of legs and put her on the shoulder and walk around, she would hang out there, then try to climb the tv eventually, had a darkroom for photography then, and she would hang out in the corner by enlarger and make a little bit of web to hang out on while I did the pictures. She was also very clean in her pen. Lovely critter.
You do seem to be becoming hooked by WILTY , it's a great show and there are quite a few compilations out there if that's how you want to react to it . Gregg Davies ( the Inbetweeners and The Taskmaster ) is great on this , also James Acaster , Rhod Gilbert and so many others .
You have to react to Greg Davies (Inbetweeners star) on the Graham Norton Show telling Jodie Foster, Russell Crowe and Ryan Gosling one of his stories about teaching hearing impaired kids. So funny.
In the 50’s and 60’s these are the games we used to play. Bearing in mind there were no computers, phones, anything at all. Your whole entertainment was outside. You only came home for food and bed. These really were the best of times and I wouldn’t change them for anything.
I recommend a full episode of Shooting Stars hosted by Bob Mortimer and Vic Reeves. It was a mental and surreal celebrity quiz show and absolutely hilarious. They're all on youtube. Series 1-5 (I think) are failry poor quality but definitely the best. But the later couple of series are also fantastic. edit: all series 1-7 seem to be uploaded at 240p, which is a shame, but it's still absolutely worth a watch)
King, please consider this one for reacting to, really cracked me up: *The Greg Davies & Chris Eubank Impression & Reaction in One Video | 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown* (Channel 4)
Greg Davis is also great on WILTY - worth checking out. Also, Bob was a brilliant contestant on Taskmaster (Greg is the Taskmaster) see if you can find clip of Bob giving Alex a special cuddle.
One of the favourite elements of Bob's appearances on WILTY for me is the reactions of David and Lee to his stories - David's just general look of "what the hell is going on" whenever Bob talks and Lee's hand-on-face "ffs..." which you see in almost every story 🤣🤣🤣
That's why you the King boomer..I've seen that a hundred times and I still cry every time ..what a life he must of led ..and I live 10 miles from where he lived .I can relate to everything he says ie..standard fireworks etc
Theft and shrubbery is a hybrid of what we used to get up to as kids. Hiding in people's back gardens plus Grand National (named after the horse race), which entailed running through front gardens and jumping over any fences/shrubbery that divided properties.
If you want to know the history of Bob then go search for Comedy Connections Shooting Stars here on YT. Takes you right from him first meeting his long-term partner Vic Reeves... Another excellent time KB! Cheers dude.
If you wanna sit back and relax with the queen .watch mortimer and Whitehouse fishing series..its so good and its a tale of both men recovering from heart surgery 😅
@@kakashiskywalker I once owned a very lifelike rubber tarantula which I thought would be great for pranks - I once stuck it into a bunch of bananas at a local supermarket - the lady who found it whilst buying bananas SCREAMED her head off (I judged it prudent not to ask for the spider back from the shop after the uproar died down)
It would be interesting to see if you still think Bob is telling the truth or lying on the ones with the guest after hearing the other stories too, obviously you're only hearing Bob's but there's three possible stories.
"Baddiel and Skinner Unplanned" Is worth you checking out, they worked together on a football type show and were flatmates and had a cat they named "Chairman Meow" You would like them Boomer 😁
King boomer Don't worry about tarantulas everyone thinks of them as large house spiders but really I can't stand house spiders to fast to unpredictable this is nothing like for example a chilli rose that is very mild tempered doesn't jump or move unpredictably they are very friendly I mention the chilli rose for two reasons they should be easy to find and their temperament is adorable I promise you now before long you would both fall in love with it Try going to an enthusiasts house or a shop and handle one together you will see exactly what I mean
Top reaction Sir . As previously stated Bob is such a brilliant story teller and around funny guy. Keep up your good work as you are a brilliant reactor
As I'm currently reading his autobiography "And Away", I think he does actually have a cat called "Goodmonson". The firework story features in it along with several others, including the shrubbery story. BTW, Would I Lie to You is in general a whole worthwhile rabbit hole in its own right. Also you would have seen the red haired lady in After Life as one of Ricky's colleagues...
Hi KB your reactions to UK comedy is just hilarious, the way you almost choke and leap from your chair, gets me each time. I would highly recommend, if you haven't seen it, the movie A Fish Called Wanda starring John Cleese, Kevin Kline & Jamie Lee Curtis. I'm sure you'd love it.
You should absolutely react to part 2, it’s hilarious. The compilations for Henning Wehn, Greg Davies, Rhod Gilbert and James Acaster are also incredible.
Great chilled entertainment 👌🏻 I know I keep asking about you doing more " Alan Partridge ", just cuz I know you'll LOVE him 🤭 ... but have you been tipped about " Bottom " ??? 🤔 Yo ... both gold, trust 👊🏼💯👊🏼 ... plus, it's cool chilling to 😬🙏🤍
Bob Mortimer and Vic Reeves did a series of improvised shorts (for Facebook I think?) called 'afternoon delights' years ago. They are too funny. Also 'The Club' skits they did on their tv show are just hysterical!!
The Dr Shakamoto skit, where Roger Lewis asks Shakamoto about his licence to practice medicine is one of my all time favourites. And The Club is a classic. Kinky John is effing brilliant.
Really enjoyed that KB! Your reactions are hilarious in themselves & live the fact that you get a kick out of watching UK TV panel shows. Best wishes 👍
Love it!! I can watch these clips so many times and they always make me cry with laughter. Great stuff. Thank you once again for cheering me up with your great reactions. Now go get practicing with an apple. All the best from the South of the UK.👍
The Gold standard of WILTY without doubt is the Lee Mack quick wit compilation, I believe it has the most views of all the compilations and rightly so. I think you'd enjoy so check it out if you get the chance to.
I'm from England, and can't wait to play this game in Boston, or wherever I go .Boomer form a posse and we will bring this to America! Anyone who gets shot down misses the next game. We do beg your pardon. But we are in your garden! Look out Alabama, were on our way ! 😂🍻
King boomer man watch more Inbetweeners and definitely watch the movies they will blow your mind m8.BIG KISSES TO QUEEN BOOMER😘.and BRO KEEP THE VIDS COMING they make me laugh even though I'm from the UK🏴.👍
KB !!! Sorry ... have you heard of, " Father Ted / Black Books / The IT Crowd " ??? ... Bro, you should have a quick look 👊🏼😬👊🏼 You won't be wasting your time 😬👍🏻 Father Ted is a legendary UK show 🇬🇧
If you like Bob’s humour, you might enjoy shooting stars. It was a tv game show from 1993 staring Bob Mortimer and Vic Reeves. It’s a bit nuts and feels like a fever dream but so so funny. Reeves and Mortimer are such an iconic British comedy duo, plus Matt Lucas features in the show and makes it even more bizarre. Highly recommend!
Love your reactions to bobs brilliant mind ,I listened to a podcast the other day of him telling his life story ,it was phenomenally funny talking about the early days when he met vic reeves ,both genius beyond words
They’ve done long 1s about “Lee Macks quick wit” & that’s about 2hrs, so I’m sure you have to do it in bits!? 😅😂 & there’s part 1 & 2 of “best of would I lie to you” which shows more of the whole program, so you see everyone’s lies/truths, but again they’re about 1/2hrs long, so again you have to do them in parts, But good reaction again mate!! 👍😁
The guy Bob calls the "One man Army from Nottingham", is a fella called Paul Scarrott, met him in Italy 1990 World Cup, he was a nutter, died in Barcelona, a homeless drunk, so I was told...
Oh, you should just watch the last 10 seconds of that vid, for a completely unrelated, but very silly little snippet of Bob at peak bizarre in 1995... Bob's autobiography, 'And Away...' was released last year, and is a great read. Although it has got some of those true stories in there, and some other odd tales which might yet make it onto WILTY? in the future.
If you want a 'WTAF did I just watch' from British TV, check out 'Celebrity Juice', it'll leave you with splitting sides and utter bemusement that such banality is allowed!
( TASKMASTER ) is another well known uk TV show with comedians you will like weather you use it as a reaction or just to view yourself , Greg Davis (the tall guy from inbetweeners)& Alex Horne are the hosts
If you grew up on a council estate in the UK there were lots of people who had nicknames, as Bob has eluded to. Here there used to be a guy who everyone called "Banjo" whose real name I still don't know. Apparently it was because he used to eat a lot of fried egg sandwiches and the egg always dripped down the front of his t-shirt/sweater, then he used to wipe it with his hand in a motion that resembled him playing a Banjo. You should definitely watch the Greg Davies (Mr Gilbert on The Inbetweeners) compilation of Would I Lie To You? ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-pre7SVugTZ0.html
Something i have noticed about Bob is that he seems to be a very visual thinker. When asked why he named such and such person, then reply is often a physical or visual characteristic. Visual thinkers are sometimes good storytellers, bc they can paint a very vivid "image" . Also he is super funny and a lateral thinker
Yeah, so if there's a spider in my house, I burn it down and move... Although I live in Australia, we get Wolf and Huntsman that keep Tarantula's for pets.
