Sir, when we fans tell you, that she is a genius, we mean it in multible ways. Yes she is a musical genius, maybe one in a billion, but she also seems to be very highly intelligent, the way how she writes and speaks says something about that. She realy feels much older than what is in her passport. Speaking 4 languages fluently, and 2 haltingly, playing at least 2 instruments, designing clothing with her grandma, planning and executing her music videos herself, yes she asks for help, but decisions are all by her. Nice reaction! Her fans call her The Barefoot Princess. She always performs with no shoes when she sings. Why? The reason is very special. When she was 6 years old, she was traveling with her family in Iran where she met a poor shoeless girl in the streets that was about her age. She made money by weighing people. After speaking with her for a few minutes, Angelina noticed the scars on the girl's feet and asked the girl what her dream is. The girl said she wanted to be a doctor but she couldn't because she had to make money for her family. Angelina did what came natural to her, she gave the little girl her shoes and told her to not give up on her dreams. The girl then asked Angelina what her dreams were, Angelina answered that she wanted to be a superstar, and the girl said she would pray for her success. Since then, Angelina has performed barefoot in honor of that little girl and to those who are less fortunate around the world. She keeps this promise to this day. Hugh, for some reason your video got by me and I'm so glad I found it now '3 months later' !! Yes, this was a spectacular performance by Angelina and I believe as her popularity grows this video will be viewed more than a 'billion' times. Hugh, what makes everything even more special is that she is a wonderful human being, so humble, kind, caring and loving and she is so genuine we feel her presence in our hearts. Her journey is shifting gears toward the end of 2023 and toward the end of 2024 tens of millions of more people will discover her and the love she carries in her heart will touch millions and millions of people all over the world. Angelina doesn’t wear shoes on stage because she, being 6 and in Iran at the time this first happened, had an amazing meeting with another girl who was shoeless and maybe a year older. She was weighing people on the side of the road. They basically discussed what they wanted to be in the future, the girl wanted to be a doctor, and Angelina said she wanted to be a star. Angelina had a Heaven like experience in her mind and basically gave her shoes to the girl and basically told her they were too small for herself. The girl finally took them and was so happy. She also told Angelina that she’ll pray for her every night for her to be a star. So since then, Angelina has not worn shoes on stage, and she won’t do it until all the kids have shoes in the world.She’s already raised over $30 million dollars for necessities and shoes for kids. It’s incredible, considering her age. Such a charitable act when she was only 6. That’s why she’s the barefoot princess. She wrote a book about it when she was 9, called Between Two Hearts. Great reaction Hugh, wow indeed her unique arrangement and fantastic performance at 13yrs this was the first song i heard her sing nearly 3 yrs ago i knew she was really special then, and since have listened to everything she has ever done any interview anything to do with her , she is without doubt my favourite ever artist no one is even close we know she is the jazz queen from her roots but she can sing pretty much anything across multiple genres she has the most beautiful soulful, rich, bluesy, raspy,, husky jazzy, breathy, soft, delicate,, intricate voice or voices with nuances upon nuances,, colours among colours and attention to detail, she loves every note and word with the most amazing depth of feeling like no one i have ever heard, feeling is innate within her and we feel it when she sings and there's more, she is the most beautiful soul, sincere, caring, kind ,calm, poised,, gentle and is on a mission to spread love and kindness and she has been doing it since was born with the giant wonderful heart she has .No surprise then to say i love her dearly along with all her angels.💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗

*Why Angelina always performs barefoot* At age 6, while traveling in the Middle East with her mother and grandmother, Angelina noticed a girl around her age standing on the side of the road, asking people to step on her bathroom scale to be weighed in hopes of getting some money. Angelina took off her shoes so as to not get the scale dirty and stepped on the scale many times to make the girl feel better. Angelina befriends the girl who was not wearing shoes and has scars on her feet, and learns she is an orphan. The orphan girl tells Angelina how beautiful she thinks her shoes are. Angelina says her shoes don’t fit her well and she wants to give her shoes to the orphan girl who thanks Angelina for giving her the shoes. Angelina asked the girl what she wanted to be when she grew up and the girl replied, “I want to become a doctor, but that will never happen since I have no parents and I have siblings so I have to do whatever is necessary for us to survive.” Angelina told the girl to never give up on her dreams. The poor girl asked Angelina what she wanted to be when she grew up and Angelina replied that she wanted to sing for the whole world. The poor girl said she would pray every day so Angelina’s dream would come true. Angelina still says she thinks of that homeless girl every day and has always performed barefoot to remind her of all the children who are less fortunate. At age 9, she became the youngest published author in Norway’s history by writing a book about this encounter in the Middle East.
