Winning AGT-Champions would require her to signa contract with one of the AGT affiliated labels. Many young performers found, to their peril, that they were virtually owned by the label for the term of the contract. Angelina did not want to be tied in to such a contract, and therefor was unable to be continued in the final group of contestants. Angelina was even courted by Disney. Angelina (14) did sign later that year with Republic Records. Republic gave her complete artistic control as well as control over the timing of her performances. Angelina found her home with a label that shared Angelina Jordan Astar's vision of her music. Angelina will turn 17 in January 2023, and she'll graduate high school in Spring. Ever since wining Norway's Got Talent, her parents insisted that she should enjoy a normal childhood, as much as possible. So by Summer of 2023, we will see her emerge from the chrysalis of childhood.

The story is that while living in the Middle East, at 6 years old, Angelina came across an orphaned girl, of her own age, sitting in the street, weighing people on a bathroom scale to earn money. Angelina said to herself "I would like to share her life for one second to know what it is like to sit alone, wet, and damp, and barefoot in a corner of the street." Angelina could see the girl's bare feet were scarred and that it was cold outside so she offered her own shoes to the girl. Little Angelina says that she really loved her shoes, as they were very nice and she knew she would miss them. But she saw the other little girl’s need for them which outweighed her own desire to keep them. So she insisted the little girl take them. Angelina called her Princess, even though the girl said she didn't live in a castle, but the ruins of a building next to where she sat. After sharing their hopes and dreams, the little girl said of Angelina's wish to sing for the world, "You will become the one you dream of and when your dreams come true you, have to remember the poor children without shoes; and I will pray for you Angelina.” Later that day 6 y/o Angelina wrote in her diary, "The world is very strange. Right then and there I felt as if a door in my heart opened up, and it was filled with lots of lights. It was as if there was, from Earth to Heaven, a staircase. I climbed the stairs. AJ’s Christmas Show that live-streamed on Dec 23 of 21 had some of the most important musicians of our time: Frank Sinatra's drummer for 6 years, and sun in-law of the late Henry Mancini, Greg Field has won 9 Grammys, and the bass player, Chuck Berghofer who also played for Sinatra for 6 years, and toured with Streisand, accompanied AJ on her Christmas Show, and they stated that she had the "storytelling ability of the greats, Streisand, Fitzgerald, Vaughan, including Sinatra, to name a few. The main pianist, a five-time nominated for Grammys, Shelly Berg, stated in all his years working with the greatest vocalist, he had never encountered a talent like AJ. Did I forget to mention Jimmy Z, the famous Sax Player who worked with Rod Steward, Etta James, the Eurythmics, and Doctor Dre, was part of the band for the show? Jimmy stated that AJ was the best he has ever played for. Rob Christie Republic Records Studio Director at Universal Music Group Manhattan Beach, California played the guitar, and was the MC of the show. Rob has been working with AJ from the very 1st day Republic signed her at age 14. (I can't list the complete backgrounds on all the band members because it would take several pages to do them justice.) Angelina stated that she would rather perform than take a breath, and she has never been forced to perform, it has been her decision. Angelina Jordan is top priority for both Stargate Production Co. (Beyonce, Rihanna, Sam Smith), and the largest record company in the world, Republic. AJ's first album for Republic is supposed to drop sometime this year.

In the summer when she was 13 when this was prerecorded, but they did not air it till the 5 months later and she was 14. It leads to confusion. So the normal voting does not take place. Mysterious super fans were supposed to have voted. Her parents would not sign with Simon as he has been known to burn out young artists. So strangely enough and though she got the golden buzzer she did not make it through to the final 5. When you hear the rest of her performances that is so hard to believe it kicked off a major controversy.

She never wears shoes she is never worn shoes singing when she was like seven and she does that because she saw a kid without shoes and she gave them a pair of shoes and she swore she would just sing without shoes like because not everybody has shoes

She came in 5th in the competition. It was 1 of 2 things.....there were 4 others better than her....or,, the competition was....well, you know what I want to say.

First, and foremost; Angelina was not on that show to win. This was quite simply to promote and expose the US public to this prodigy that comes along maybe once in a generation. I am sure America’s Got Talent was paid well by her production company, or Republic Records who had signed her in 2021. David Foster would have jumped in to produce her if the hitmaking duo Stargate (Beyonce, Rihanna, Sam Smith) had not. She is like nothing we have ever experienced. People, wake up to reality; do you honestly think for one moment that a talent like Angelina Jordan if competing on AGT would not win if it were legit? AJ is a talent like no other in this world at this time. I am astonished at your naiveté!
