Corallium is the first BM song with lyrics written 100% by Saiki. An instant favorite for me! 🎶🎸🥁🎸🎶🔥🙂

Saiki asked Miku if she could write some lyrics for "Corallium" but she was busy being Cluppo so Sai-chan decided to write them herself. I'm a wealth of B-M info me :)

@@zounds_uk Yep you're right, i didn't word my comment right. Miku was busy Recording & had written lyrics but she was happy for Saiki's lyrics to be chosen cos she said Saiki revealed more of her inner self in her lyrics. Happy Maidmas to you, I hope you have a ticket for the show :)

Corallium is one of two b-sides to Sense, which Band-Maid wrote for Platinum End, an anime. Certain elements of the drawing reference this anime, for instance, the shadowy battle scene on the wall. Scattered throughout the art are little Easter eggs that reflect certain hobbies and likes of the Maids.

This CD is a work for an anime, Platinum End. The main song used in the anime was Sense while this is supposed to be the B side - what a song! As others have, or will state, this was written by Saiki. And, as anything Band-Maid does it is unbelievable in its' composition and execution. Thanks for the reaction and comments.

The artwork was for the single of Sense, which is for an anime. The cover was inspired by anime but has a lot of things hidden in it. Hibana and Corallium were B-sides for that release. Saiki wrote the lyrics for this one and was the first song released as such. Her lyrics were more personal compared to Miku’s, who doesn’t write from the first person or from her own experiences. Corallium is some type of coral? And Saiki wrote lyrics with the theme that love is a bit like drowning… lol

Sense is their last production, a single with three A sides. Sense (song) is the op theme for the anime Platinum End and has its own MV in their official YT channel (2M views in less than two months). Hibana and Corallium are the other two monster tracks. The songwriting skills of the Band have ended the year even higher than the beginning (Unseen World). The artwork in the cover represents the band (the pidgeon is Miku, the baseball bat and the sneaker is Saiki, the coffee set is Kanami, the Jim Beam bottle is MISA and the ramen noodle is Akane) and their music (the apron tie is their trademark, the scene depicted in the shadows is the angel, the dragon and the battle, a reference to the theme from the anime Platinum End). There are a lot of easter eggs in everything they do, they never tire of offering intricate challenges (musical or not) to their fans .

Miku is often overlooked in BM songs. She sings, plays rhythm guitar and recently has assume lead roles so Kanami can move into more complicated music. The band’s sound wouldn’t as full as it is without Miku.
