@@mattybrunolucaszeneresalas9072 Bad how? All the data, all the experts, all the studies shows that the war on drugs is foolish and that criminalizing cannabis is nonsensical. None of the catastrophes or public health disasters parroted around by extreme conservatives materialized. Now there's safe supply, control, billions in revenues lost by organized crime and massive tax revenues (15 billions in 3 years for the federal and 1 billion per year for Ontario). So it's just bad in your head?

Cannabis isn’t decriminalized in Canada, it’s fully legal. It’s no different than beer and widely considered safer. Canada has had minimal problems since the last 20-30-ish years. But many Canadians are somewhat ignorant about how things are in the rest of the world, specifically developing and underdeveloped countries. So even when a simple inconvenience occurs like there not being enough parking spaces, taking too long to get food from a restaurant, not having 24/7 wifi connection etc, Canadians complain like their life is over. Hi Tyler ~ the “illegal” immigrants are NOT Canadians…the is due is concerning East Indians coming from India and trying to cross the border however possible! This is an extraordinarily important issue that often ends TRAGICALLY!!! Basically, they hire illegal drug cartels to sail north and drop off some LEGAL items, only to refill with stolen vehicles, HUMANS (who pay TENS of thousands of dollars to cross illegally…some even becoming part of the sex traffic market when they can pay or the sum suddenly increases!) Look up the story about the poor Indian family, and the owner of the boat and member of the Indigenous community. They were crossing a part of the river in February, so it’s deathly cold! I won’t get into the details…but…it’s horrible to know people feel so desperate in India, that they would jeopardize their lives! Cheers!🇨🇦

People crossing the border illegally are not Canadian citizens. They are people who have either come to Canada on a tourist visa or are refugee claimants who have been found not eligible to remain in the country. The southern US border has the same problem. In Québec we have a well known comedian named Yvon Deschamps that long ago in one of his monologues said _Where there are humans there is "humanry"_ highlighting the fact that no matter your race or country of origin, we're all humans and humans do what they do. So yes, even in Canada there's crimes like in the USA only they're happening less often. As for neighbors making noises, I use to live next to 8 soccer fields and in summer it was noisy every day until 11pm. A man who was a paramedic was bringing and parking his ambulance so that he could sound the siren every time the team he supported touched the ball. After trying the diplomatic level head approach that failed, one night I took my 100watts guitar amp out and cranked it to the max and played with full distortion for about half an hour, purposefully sounding awful. That was the end of the siren.

The dose of Cannabis in Gummies, Lollipops, chocolate, even POP (soda pop), high energy drinks…along with all the “usual edibles”…such as Brownies, cupcakes, fudge, cookies, cakes, etc… use you imagination, and it’s likely sold at the very common Cannabis shops. The “older” and elderly population have the MONEY to purchase such items, and gummies look harmless…yet…consuming highly potent dosed candy is NOT often a concern by the seller, as they have either told the consumer, or in worse case scenarios, they sell the product without informing the patient…not to mention…most younger individuals are unaware, or forget many elderly use READING GLASSES and often forget them and do they figure…”what harm can 1 to 2 gummies do…or 1/2 a brownie”…when it can possibly kill them - depending upon the does, their age, weight, metabolism, and whether they take serious medications…ie: heart and blood pressure, insuring diabetic insulin, prostate meds (common in men 50+), kidney and organ meds, and those on dialysis are of concern…there are so many factors! One cannot compare the effects on a healthy 20 year old to that of a 70, 80, or 90+ year old! **NOTE: READ - don’t SKIM the articles..including the STANLEY CUP finals. Toronto and Montreal have been a part of the pilot but they chose to do it full force in Vancouver. It should have had an impact of less overdoses with a safe supply but it seems we have so many hurting people. If we could fully implement the Portugal Model of Decriminalization we may be ok but the way our country has gone about it is not working

Canada is not the country we once knew after 9 yrs of Trudeau leading it. The decriminalization of drugs was or is a pilot project in BC. First, they handed out "safe supply" government funded prescription opioids. Then they made it legal to possess up to 2.5 grams of things like yes, crack, heroin etc. Since putting it in place, in 1 year 2500 people died from o'd. Approx. 6 a day. The leading cause of death for 10 - 18 yr olds became drug o'd. The government has pulled back only to make it illegal to use drugs in public spaces. Like at hospitals, parks, beaches etc. With the prices soaring, homelessness and this, we are rapidly looking like what is a third world country.

It is terrible that Trudeau has allowed to this in Canada. He will single handedly ruin this country with bringing in a massive amount of immigrants when there are no homes or jobs. Even Canadians who were born and raised here are homeless due to rising interest rates and few houses being built. There are over 250 tent cities in Toronto alone.

15:12 Cannabis is legal for recreational use nationwide. The provincial governments regulate it. I think the minimum in any province is you can carry 30g on you legally for personal use. Anyone can buy it legally who’s 18/19+. The only legal place to buy is a private licensed dispensary in some provinces and in others it’s provincially run stores, ie you’re an employee of the province(the Maritimes - same as alcohol, no private sale or stores allowed).

Tyler, even Canadians don't get to hear all the news that happens in Canada, especially when a person is listening to mainstream Canadian tv networks. Alot of times I hear of Canadian happenings on American networks. The Canadian government funds the major networks in Canada, so what the government doesn't want us to know, we DON'T SEE. Thank God for independent reporters who are ONLINE.

Canada may be a nicer place to live, but the United States has more economic opportunities. Many well-known Hollywood actors have moved to your country from Canada, for example. Some Canadians who became unemployed after the Avro Arrow fighter jet project was cancelled moved to the United States and helped with the Apollo program.

Although, I think instead of relying on food banks, some should start growing their own produce. Some of my friends have started doing it and they're saving a lot of money by doing so. And it's not like inflation is unique to Canada so don't make it look like Canada has things worse. Because the majority of countries definitely have things far worse than Canada.

Crime happens in Canada, it just seems to far less frequent than in the US. From Stats Can, 2022 had 874 homicides in all of Canada, in the same year, US had 19,151. US is roughly 10x the population of Canada so divide 19,151 by 10 = 1951 vs 874; more than double the rate

There is a difference between decriminalization and legal. Cannabis is legal, you can go to the store and buy some, like liquor, cigarette, etc.. Decriminalization of drugs would allow hard drogue user to receive the help they need, secure environment/equipment for their usage instead of being put in jail for that crime. It would still be illegal, just not a crime.

Tyler.... You should look for a different news feed. How can any legitimate Canadian news source not have several stories regarding a Canadian based NHL team qualifying for the Stanly Cup final series for the first time in 18 years? Also, the two final teams will be traveling a greater distance between cities than ever before. You seem to be fond of the fact that most Canadians live within 90 miles of the U.S. border. Not so in this case. Edmonton is by far the most northern metropolis in North America. With a greater metro population of 1.35 million, the Edmonton population is 4 and a half times greater than Anchorage, which no one could call a "large" city. The juxtaposition of Edmonton versus a Florida based team for a hockey championship (the Stanley cup) should appeal to your sense of the unique and peculiar.

Bertoll i so called olive oil had a huge class action lawsuit filed against them 5 or 6 years ago. Their olive oil was (and still is ) “adulterated” with other oils such as canola (rape seed oil) or safflower oil. Nothing wrong with canola or safflower- Canola is a huge Canadian product but the point is it was labelled as olive oil. If you want pure olive oil can go on line to see the brands that are certified. The Mafia was involved in this. I never buy Bertolli - it’s cheap and can be found at dollar stores. Best to research before buying - also south American and US olive oil is often miss labelled. Surprised me that Costco Kirkland brand is pure! Certified organic Extra Virgin olive oil is a whole world of difference.

Immigrants often view Canada as a gateway to the USA, as the government continues to welcome individuals from troubled nations, leaving Canadians to address the resulting challenges. Many aim to reach the USA, and it seems Canada has become an inadvertent stepping stone in their journey.
