Their 93 entry is highly underrated imo. It was about the war in Croatia going on at the time (also Bosnia entered that year and also had a song about the war going on there that's excellent too) and aside from that, it was beautifully composed and arranged. I personally think they should've won in 99 lmaoo (that's just me tho)

1999 Sweden was such a bogus winner and Croatia lost points because someone made a mistake in production and used the wrong tape...but in the end the points weren't deducted. However, Norway and England gave this 0 points, how ?

Not so fun fact. Their 2021 entry is the very first time a country failed to qualify in spite of them being in both the juries' and televotes top 10. Other, slightly more divisive entries between the jury and televote ended up getting juuust enough points to beat this out

Fun fact 1996 Maja Blagdans' performance is still holding record for highest note in singing (on Eurosong) till this day
