Forgot to mention that That's all of the enteries of the contest. Azerbaijan is also not participating in this year's contest because of the political issues with the hosting country- Armenia 🇦🇲
First of all, thank you for making my suggestion! It was fun! Some comments about the video: - Azerbaijan do not participating this year. - 16 participating countries are in, I think when you made the video, Italy's and Armenia's entry are not yet published. - Kazakhstan is participating since 2018. They are amazing in every year since their debut. - I agree with you when you said some of the Junior stuff is even better than the adult songs. These kids are so talented, this year is going to be so exciting, we don't have a clear winner yet. My favourite is definitely Ireland, but I think Georgia will win this as you said too.
7:40 Israel hasn't participated in the junior contest since 2018. If you are talking about the ADULT contest withdrawals for 2023, Israel did not withdraw. The 3 countries that withdrew were bulgaria, Montenegro, and North Macedonia. None of them withdrew due to being "too homophobic" it was due to a financial issue. I know that 2 of those countries have sent LGBTQ participants in the past. Macedonia in 2021, and Montenegro in 2017. The "homophobic withdrawal" was made by hungary in 2019.
Only 16 songs for Jr. Eurovision. You missed Armenia’s song, and it’s a very good one! Italy too… (not as good but still fun) Would love to see full reactions to all of them once they are performed live. ❣️🤗❣️
Great video! I think that after Ukraine will release revamp of their song (I read somewhere that they will do it today or tomorrow, but I'm not really sure), official Junior Eurovision channel will post recap of all 16 songs (because you were reacting to the video with only 14, but I don't know when did you film this, maybe Italy and Armenia weren't released yet). Azerbaijan isn't participating in this year's Junior Eurovision, because of the conflict with Armenia. Also, you mentioned Cyprus and Moldova at beginning of a video - they aren't participating, because a lot of countries prefer to only to participate in adult version of Eurovision, mostly because it already cost a lot, but there is some other reasons probably. This is why the most countries we ever had in Junior Eurovision was only 20 and for Eurovision it was 43.
Azerbaijan not participating this year because it will be in Armenia. And since azerbaijan killed 5000 Armenias just 2 years ago by attacking on Armenians, they can’t go to Armenia for evrovision
respect for the UK and more than 1 point...... how have you forgot the UK came 2nd at Eurovision with Sam Ryder and we are hosting it haha But YES COME ON FREYA UK CAN WIN JESC22
Can you also react to the Armenia and Italy ones? They were the last two that needed to come out, and came out since this video. Also after those, the UK, Netherlands (live performance), and Georgia might be worth watching the full videos if you want. The "not your toy" song was Israel. Also Kazakhstan has been in Jr Eurovision a few times but not the adult Eurovision, I don't know if they have plans to change that.
It was me who suggested it, so thanks. Toy was sung by Netta in 2018 for Israel. Azerbaijan are not competing this year as it's in Armenia. They will be in Liverpool for the adult contest in May, though. Kazakhstan only participate in the Junior edition. UK and Netherlands are current frontrunners to win. Ukraine are unlikely to win because 1) the song is just not that popular, 2) kids also vote and they are less likely to vote out of sympathy and 3) the situation in Ukraine is less novel that it was back in May - people are kinda used to it by now.

As 🇦🇹 Austrians who never took part in Junior Eurovision, Kazakhstan 🇰🇿 is extremely great! Albania 🇦🇱, Serbia 🇷🇸, 🇮🇪 Ireland and 🇲🇰 North Macedonia are also great! The worst this year is Malta 🇲🇹. Malta has brought great English songs in the past but not this year. It also annoys me that they haven't used their wonderful indigenous language, Maltese, in the Eurovision Song Contest since the 1970s.
