0:08 - You do wanna say the first one, with the stress on the first syllable (É). That's how it's pronounced. 🙂 1:12 - The colour of the houses in the Alentejo and Algarve regions (the southernmost ones) are predominantly white because those regions were traditionally hot during the Summer and the white helped maintaining the houses cool inside. 2:30 - What??? For real? 😄 3:30 - Those are the ruins of a Roman temple, built in the 1st century a.C. 7:52 - No, it's the Bones' Chapel. It was built by the Franciscan monks to remind the living that life is not eternal. In the XVI century there were 42 monastic cemeteries in Évora and they were taking too much space, so the monks removed around 5000 graves from them and used the bones to "decorate" the chapel's interior. Over the entrance there's a written phrase that says "we, the bones that are here, for yours we wait". 😊

9:15 Those "big stones" are an 8000 years megalith site (built in 6000 B.C.). en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Almendres_Cromlech

Someday I really appreciated to offer you a voyage to Portugal, eating pasteis de Belém and some Porto or Madeira wine. You deserve such thing!

07:55 😂 they are skeletones. It's Capela dos Ossos (Chapel of the Bones) containing thousands of skulls. Fun fact: there is an inscription there that says "Nós ossos que aqui estamos, pelos vossos esperamos" (we bones that are here, for yours we wait), eventually a way to show how temporary and fagil human life is.

You also would like Monsaraz or Marvão, two middle aged, fortified cities, in the south of Portugal.

What you see at 5:30 is an aqueduct, and it was used to distribute water.

It's the Cathedral from XIII century, , not a castle. That "big thing" it's a roman temple. It's not a bridge or a wall, it's the an acqueduct. It's the Bones Chapel. It's a cromelech (check for it) not a stones village😂
