Finally someone who "understands" the video. It is a fun video! And as you say - the video should reflect the lyrics of the song. I think it is provocative also in Italy but maybe not as much as in the US. "You" have a strange attitude towards sex - compaired to Europe.

Great reaction, thanks! As I see you are quite easygoing about the mv hope you don't mind I comment here. I wonder why nobody ever say anything of all the hip hop videos who put on display voluptuous seminaked girls, often not even necessary to the song content, dancing with explicit moves and sexual innuendos, close-up of boobs, ass, flirty eyes while blatantly licking lips projecting a woman image that personally I find degrading and offensive, I have never read anybody complaining that children can accidentally see them and those images might be uneducative not to mention that even when not posing as accessories but being protagonists, women are always seminaked and very provocative objectifying the woman. (I am not referring to morality, I am neither a prude nor a bigot and I am not disturbed by nudity when is not reducing women to mere sexual objects and men accessories), vulgarity is everywhere as well as violence yet all seems accepted as normal while for a kinky mv a lot of people are complaining. I find Maneskin video coherent with the song lyrics, the images, for the subject of the video are tasteful and not offensive of person dignity, the whole video is playful and ironic, is it kindky? Yes of course, that is what the song is about, explore extremes, but that's it and as far as the spit, people spit in day to day life for other than sex, is not the most shocking thing. I wonder why those who don't like the song subject are watching the video just to complain after. I think the video is "in your face" which is just what they meant to do, "everyone should explore and choose what they prefer to do without judgement from others who don't share their taste, their sexual orientation, etc.". We don't have to like it to let people free to do as they please on their personal acts. I don't think Maneskin are worried that this video will push away part of their fans, most of their songs don't have a mv, this one has been made with the specific intent of "sending the message". In my opinion.
