Yes he was serious about drugs. He was seen with his face near the table during the final and some French journalists insinuated he was doing drugs. Turned out Thomas broke a glass and he was just trying to figure out what to do with all the broken glass on the pavement under the table, there are pics of this. He was seriuosly irritated by that insinuation and even took a drug test to prove he didn't do anything. After everything was cleared, Eurovision made an official statement about that.

Damiano, Thomas and Victoria went to the same school, thats where they met. They found Ethan in an online website for musicians and then they auditioned together in Xfactor Italia. They've been together since 2016, about 5 years now.

I love that you commented on the ping-pong because that's literally what they were known for at Eurovision hahaha. In most of the video's filmed in the artists common area, you can spot Maneskin in the background playing ping-pong :)

Speculation came up that he was snorting something on live TV and some wanted to disqualify them, so the runner-up could win. He did a drug test and it was negative. Apparently someone broke a glass and he was only looking down. You can probably find a video of him leaning down and the drama afterwards.

Victoria and Thomas went to the same middle school and play together as kids later in high school they were in a band together, then Victoria and Damiano were in another band together, mostly kids bands, in 2016 they decided to form a band together Victoria, Thomas, Damiano and recruit Ethan via Facebook. Since then, when they were 15,16,16,17, they've been spending every single spare moment together, studying, playing, taking part in contests, basically growing up together. All along they've formed a very strong bond and it shows in their friendship and when playing on stage.

Oh he was serious about the drugs but he didnt let that ruin the moment for them. He said it in multiple interviews that he was very angry. Ofcourse the speculation came out by a french reporter probably bitter that they lost and that the viewers preferred Italy over Swiss and France. Even the instance that was shown on tv, the French guy forgot to say there is a huge ass champagne vase in front of Damiano and to snort from that height you either need a Pinocchio nose or sewer pipe to reach the table. If you can notice how Damiano is not very loud in their private moments, Thomas and Victoria are the noisy ones :D. He doesnt even drink when they are not on a gig or something, his favorite thing is his chamomile tea

What extra funny about Joel screaming "Rock and Roll is back!" while hugging Damiano is by his own admission he does not remember doing that since he was so drunk

They are friends from school. They say that they hang out with each other a lot. :)

Some of the clips are from a movie called This is Maneskin that show how they wrote the second album, it is on RU-vid with subs, there is also like a documentary called Il ballo della vita tour that follows them on their tour. No the were made.by them and are very interesting. When they where 16, 17, 18 they stayed together on the Xfactor Italy so you can see their chemistry as they have grown up together. ( Sorry if my English isn't very good, hope I made myself understood). Love your reactions and seing the point of view of someone who is not from Europe.

the french press accused Damiano to use drugs at eurovision, but seriously he's an ex basketball player, and he doesn't use drugs. he was defending himself, but with a bottle of champagne in the hand.. so it was strange LOL .. but seriously they're good guys, and they're against the use of drugs.

Hi, if you wanna see better videos, interview clips, funny moments and such with english captions you really should check the channel deea vjbes. They make good vides on måneskin and it’s a lot better and funnier when you understand what they are saying:) you will get to know them better very quickly. Don’t mean to be rude or anything but these videos are kinda weird to react to when you have no idea what is going on or what they’re saying:)! I would recommend videos named måneskin being måneskin and måneskin in interviews by the channel deea vjbes! They are really fun:)

There are a lot of cool fan accounts out there subbing older Maneskin videos and making compilations with subs too for those of us new to the band. They've been friends for about six or seven years since they were at school. There is actually a 'This is Maneskin' documentary from their first album about on youtube.
