Excatly. I really like watching MagicalMessi highlight videos but that comparison video seems way too biased. The "Messi vs Ronaldo The best goat comparison" video on the other hand is really well done.

@@vladorac6 It's an outdated video though, since then Messi has also won the trophies everyone always held against him (for not winning them) and has squashed even the mercy point they gave Cristiano in that video.

We are watching a video from a channel called "magical messi," it is obvious who he is gonna be biased towards. I think Corey explained it really well, saying scoring in style makes you the better player, is stupid and it does not add anything to the discussion. The Video already demonstrated that Messi had a better season than Ronaldo, no need to bring up unnecessary points in categories that are close, or where Ronaldo was better. Just a bad look especially if you dont do the same for Ronaldo and this is coming from a Messi Fan who thinks he is the best to ever do it. 💪

@@Elektronikar think the one difference is scoring in style or scoring a harder goal a penka is a stylish goal so that I feel doesn’t make a difference to a normal pen, however a running through 3 defenders and scoring compared to a tap in is a harder goal and more stylish, that’s where credit should be given

@@keebs67 i agree but the stylish points were only added to the penalties and headers, like come one, Messi is unreal we don’t have to inflate his header skills when it’s obviously not something he often goes for, positioning and height wise.

Messi is a much better goalscorer, far outperforms his expected goals in comparison, far less shots needed to score, scores from nothing, far more goals from outside the box etc. Even on the surface level Messi is better. Much better goals per minute ratio.

For me lionel messi is only better at playmaking and ball control. Where im from dribbling means skills which is clearly Ronaldo has more skills than messi. Messi is a great player no doubt tho. Scorer Ronaldo is better not because he's got more goals the huge difference is Ronaldo can score both legs from anywhere Messi can't do that not only that but header it's not even close. Ronaldo is going to pass Messi on free kicks soon he's only 2 away. I don't think stats makes a player better because it's both stats and how skilled you are.

Barcelona literally had an "name" and it is until now remembered by everyone "The MSN" Atack (messi, suares, neymar). Again, Real Madrid was never a shit team, but it had worst teams sometimes in comparison, and that has a impact in the numbers the player can have, it was EASIER to Messi to shine in that period of time, just that.

Messi is the better finisher, shoots way less, scores more goals per game and more goasl from outside the box, has a better conversion rate from everywhere. The only thing CR7 has a couple of % points extra than him is penalties.

In contrast Ronaldo proved in every one of his teams that he is world class. He was not dependant on certain players or certain tactics. You could put him anywhere in the world and he still would be the most dominant player of that league. Once Messi was removed from Barcelona and had to play with players he is not used to and had to play other than tiki-taka, he had a hard time to prove that he would be the best.

I see this argument so often and it is really weak. Messi came into PSG his first year recovering from COVID (something completely outside his control), and for his second season he was back to being world class. Ronaldo played for Juventus for three years without missing significant time in any of those years. Both PSG and Juventus were winning league titles and some domestic cups at the time, while neither won Champions League. So both of them left Spain when in their mid-30's and neither of them significantly changed the level of success their new teams were having. If you want to say that at United with Alex Ferguson and teammates like Wayne Rooney, Rio, Giggs, and Tevez was not "good players" or a great environment to play in then I think you need to get your head checked.

And don't forget, Messi at PSG was not the main striker (he was mostly the playmaker) and in Miami he is playing for a faaaaaaaaaar worse team than Ronaldo, who plays for the best team in Saudi alongside Al hilal.
