He is retired from international cricket but still plays league games which is the IPL and its still not confirmed whether he is retiring after this season its all speculaions and it certainly isn't necessarily his last game on saturday as if the win or lose by a small or moderate margin, they still will qualify as the top 4 teams for the playoffs! BTW Pls react on his batting too he is a mastermind of the game and I'd argue that currently he has a bigger fanbase than any of the players so much so that the fans want other batsmen of the team they're supporting to get out just so they could see him batting!
The term you were looking for is "stumped" as in 'the batsman got stumped' or 'he stumped the batsman' This is because the three wickets alongwith the two bails on top are referred to as "Stump"
Most hyped match probably it's gonna be most viewed match in the history of IPL on 18th.Its a virtual knockout match if CSK looses it will be Dhoni's last match and it is also biggest rivalry RCB vs CSK.
@@mtk3755 It is right up there with MI vs CSK if not the biggest...I mean all these 3 teams have poster boys of Ind cricket it will automatically become one of the biggest rivalries de facto.
MS Dhoni God of Indian Cricket. Best Captain ever for India wining maximum wins for country. Best Batsman,Best wicket keeper, Best bowler in stress times and best fielder on the field. He was a all rounder package but sadly retired from Professional cricket. Virat Kohli admires MS Dhoni legacy claims gem like Dhoni can't be produce again.
6.36 - he caught the ball and then had the presence of mind to stump the guy out in case the ball had missed the bat and the catch wasn't actually out.
Professional/Franchise cricket tends to have the LEDs in the stumps because it's a bit easier for the viewer to tell when the stumps have been broken. And it's just a bit more showy and Hollywood for the TV audience - especially if it's a night match. Test cricket wants to retain the purity of the game, so they still use just normal wooden sticks as stumps. Although these days, even test cricket has a microphone in the stump, which they use as part of video reviews of close calls.
Dhoni is an absolute legend only captain to win all ICC trophies I will say second most successful captain in world cricket and most successful captain in IPL his following is most insane among any Indian players you can say even greater than Kohli
Check out Muttiah muralidaran, Shane Warne and James Anderson. They are the top three test wicket taking bowlers and all are incredible. Warne and Muralidaran are spin bowlers whilst Anderson (who is retiring this summer) is a fast bowler. Pleased to say I’ve had the privilege of seeing them all play in person.
I am not sure by your comments that you recognized that to be able to get the batter out by knocking down the stumps no part of the batsman or his bat may be behind the line (the crease) in front of the wicket. That was the point of all those slomos when the batsman tried to reach the crease in time. That was why Dhoni made the play behind his back, no time to turn around.
@@lukessportsacademy And Luke to answer ur ques... It's really hard to hit stumps from a side-view angle as from that view u can only see a single Stump/Stick... Even getting a player run out by hitting on stumps is a rarity in cricket because it takes exceptional accuracy, speed and timing skills to nail that... That's why u will hardly see a run-out made by a player from boundary lines or 30 yard circle unless Batsman does a fumble and gets out by his own mistake.
"So I pick up the ball and I throw it to Dhoni..." "Naturally..." "So I pick up the ball and I throw it to Naturally..." "NO! You throw it to DHONI!" "Naturally... Same as YOU!"
" He lil went footy with it " bruh no keeper in the history of cricket (since it originated 100 years ago) has anyone done that, this is the 1time we have aeen a keeper do that.
Most famous team of ipl is csk and rcb it's just because of ms dhoni and virat kohli if both of them was not in rcb and csk team then they would have lost 90 percent of fans
