@JS 09 My eyes rolled at his cringeworthy 4th-wave-feminist rhetoric, but the rest of his act - non-political anecdotes and such - were entertaining. Hey, Taffe316, Zak Wright from the UK here with a suggestion for your next American Reacts To video. Have you ever heard of CBBC's Trapped!? If you haven't then here's the premise: Six kids from a certain part of the UK are locked into a Halloween like tower and have to complete a challenge on each floor (6-2) on each floor one of the team is the saboteur whose job it is to make sure that the team fail. If the challenge is failed or passed the "Unfortunates" or contestants have to vote for who they thought the saboteur was. If the saboteur failed to sabotage the challenge then they would get trapped automatically after the vote. The Unfortunate who received the most votes on each floor would be trapped on that floor until the end of the show. If I could recommend a series for you to react to then I would recommend series 1 because that series of it wasn't as scary as series 2, 3, and 4 and kids could watch it without having nightmares. The episode I would recommend is either Series 1 Episode 1 (East London) or Series 1 Episode 6 (Edinburgh) because of one Unfortunate in particular, Tom (He wears a brown hoodie and is hilarious to watch)

As a lover of music and comedy, this was my FAVOURITE show and I miss it SO MUCH. I still watch old clips and repeats sometimes. Both the Mark Lamar and Simon Amstell years are great. The guest host and Rhod Gilbert years are hit or miss. One of the best was Adam Buxton. He added segments like funny RU-vid comments, which he read out and different voices and including misspellings, and How Many Mobies. Phil Jupitus was the only constant throughout the show's run. His opposing team had 3 different official captains (Sean Hughes - RIP, Bill Bailey and Noel Fielding) and one season of just guest captains on that team. I wish it would come back. There would still be the problem of who would host it. Phil and Noel would probably still be on board. One of them could take over hosting duties and I reckon James Acaster would make a great team captain.

There is a really funny show called "Celebrity Juice". It's basically a panel show made up of comedians and TV personalities playing physical and often disgusting games. On one season They played a game where the host, Keith Lemon, was dueling against one of the Jedward twins. The object of the game was to see who would last the longest as they were being hit by a baguette to the body. After each turn the Baguette was changed for slightly more stale ones. In the last round Kieth hit one of the twins so hard that he dropped to the floor like a sack of shit. it left a huge 10 inch bruise across his side and back. It was genuinely funny to see them annoying twats get seriously hurt. hehehe

Speaking of Pat Sharp, you should do "Fun House". It's a kids tv gameshow he hosted in the 80s and 90s. Do an early episode where he's got the mullet. You said you weren't sure if this was a good episode of Buzzcocks to review... I think it was a good one. Had not seen it before, but as soon as Jedward came on, you just knew they were going to get ruined. Being a guest on Buzzcocks generally meant being roasted, especially the episodes with Lamarr and Amstel. Love the vids btw. Here's another one that could be interesting: Treasure Hunt, with Anneka Rice. It's an 80s gameshow where they flew around in a helicopter!

Yeah I saw that and thought she was obviously one of the 'dancers' they used to plant in the audience, which is what Sinita was before meeting Simon Cowell and returning to TOTP with her own single, which he just knew would do well in the gay clubs. Dunno how he knew that. 🤔

Ahhh with never mind the buzzcocks you really need to see some of the older ones with Mark Lamar as the host! He used to rip into the guests and was so good with harsh comebacks! Not knocking this episode, I like Jack Dee too but there’s something about the older series before political correctness or anything and just a bunch of very quick witted sarcastic types! As people have said, the Preston episode was a good one but to be honest any with Mark were bloody funny! He was clearly mates with the usual guests so all the digs at each other felt a lot more natural like a bunch of mates really going for it on each other rather than scripted comedy! And marks names for each weeks line ups were hilarious! Then some black guy kept being in the lineup even with white people, that black dude was a legend who never broke character or laughed, it just made the whole thing funny as heck while Mark kept trying to break him and make him smile but the black dude was a professional lol! It was honestly brilliant, you’d have to watch it to see! It’s like have I got news for you, worth watching but you’d have to watch the ones with Angus Deaton as the host to get a feel of it at its best! He was really good and then some prostitute scandal broke over nothing and he got such a ripping for it off the media and his co-hosts that went OTT on it that he’s kind of had like comedy PTSD ever since and doesn’t push it incase someone brings that up! He’s hosted stuff since but it’s not the same! But if you watch the first episode after it broke, it’s a special one lol! His co-hosts destroy him and you can see it all over his face that he’s uncomfortable as hell! I like Angus and they cocked up by getting rid of him! Have I got news for you was never the same after! That’s really when political correctness started taking over and it’s been a downhill slope ever since!
