Dumbarton is a real place. The kicker, its only 16 miles from Glasgow. They broke down basically just outside of Glasgow.

Funny thing is I dont you ever noticed bxkid7 that you never see meenas face but also I like how she was arranged to be married and fled to Scotland because in real life she was in an arranged marriage with an abusive older man and she did actually flee to Scotland!

He put in Cadburys Chocolate Buttons into his breakfast. And Dumbarton is real, just outside Glasgow. So they broke down after just a few miles out of Craig Lang, whilst Jack and Victor are already there. Tighnahuliesh doesn’t exist it’s name is an amalgamation of two other Scottish places.

I joost live across the Clyde from it, amazing view, sounds cheesy AF but I've never took the view of The Clyde with Dumbarton Rock and the mountains behind it for granted. I used to live in a house right beside the M8 in Port Glasgow and had a full view, living room looked down and directly at the Clyde with windows and a veranda on different corners, and my bedroom window looked up the Clyde. I still live local, but I have to walk for 5 minutes for the view now. I really miss looking at it every day, in all weathers.

@@bxkid7 You should do "The Young Ones" first ... because the two leads of that show go on to do Bottom. It's kind of a spiritual sequel. It's about an early 80s student houseshare - imagine a much more disgusting version of Friends! :) 4 guys this time .... one of them is a long-haired hippy, one is a violent punk rocker with a mohawk, one is a self-styled "intellectual" facist, and the most sane one of them is their landlord who lives with them and has no problem with their antics, because he thinks he's as cool as Elvis. It lasted only 2 seasons - but they defined anarchic British comedy for the next 40 years and counting!

the last new episode for 7 years! You conna do the live comeback next? you will need toilet breaks for that and a coffee by yer side but it has its moments ( over 2 hours, the tv 1 hour edit wasnt much cop!)

Dumbarton, yes. Check out Dumbarton Rock & Castle. Scarness and, I'm not even going to try and spell it, Tignahuilsh are not real.Has anyone ever done a Still Game map for you?
