I absolutely love Still Game, I maybe English but I'm binge watching it for a 3rd time and starting to understand the lovely Scottish dialect this time.
Was introduced to this program in 2010 on a visit to the wives relatives,it is now 2020 a am still watching .Best comedy ever the Scots are really brilliant people btw stunning country.
I'm so glad I found this, quite by accident, and usually watch a couple of episodes before going to bed. I'm a Scot living abroad, and it takes me back to when, as a child, I visited my Auntie Emily and Uncle Tammy in Govan.
I discovered this program 3 months ago and am going to nominate Greg and Ford for knighthoods for the huge pleasure their genius writing and performances, and to recognise the brilliance of all the other characters, theses programs are just sublime. Thank you for uploading them.
I'm so happy I decided to do a ton of delving into this show. I've watched it through like 20x since I found it earlier this year, and these hidden gems are seriously amazing.
Brilliant loved that show & never saw this episode , my African Grey parrot actually whistles this theme tune to this day - soon as he hears me getting up !
So, SO glad to have found this absolute GEM on Netflix!!! My husband and I are Kiwis living in Australia, daily regretting ever leaving New Zealand! We both have Scottish ancestors and have binge watched "Still Game" and love it to bits!!
OUCH! Really sorry to hear you regret moving here but it's no' fae everyone. Yaay for Netflix, though. We were about the same. We had been ignoring the advertising still for 2 months or so after getting it, then instant love! Binged and binged ever since.
I do, too. I go through Still Game, then Benidorm, then Big Bang Theory, then it's time to start again, takes me to bed with a bit of laughter. After SG I find myself thinking in a Glasgow accent!!
as an Australian I love that show but I just wish Rab C nesbit came with subtitles, I still loved the bits I caught but I will have to watch it a few more times.@@jamiegray6492
I don't remember how I found it, purely by accident. Living abroad, I'd never heard of it. It's one of my three favourites and I try to watch a few episodes most night to counteract the depressive state of the world, so I go to bed on a high note. This is my third time watching the whole series. I agree with Scottish Things, it loses something after series no 6.
Agreed! ..and for all her nosiness..it does often does real good! If Isa thought a baby, toddler or animal was being abused, she'd investigate! She wouldn't turn the tv up and just ignore it! Go Isa!
Thank you Still Game for all the laughs . I was in hospital getting an amputation of my right foot , following a farm accident. The laughs I had while in hospital, Room 33 was my abode for six weeks and the staff wondered why so much laughing . I watched it all over again , and five years later I'm watching it again. Absolutely great actors , one almost feels like you know them, . I'm Irish and yes relate to the bad language , esp ya prick etc . Thank you again and again for making this treasure of a sitcom. . I know many will agree , nothing can touch it's humour. 😅😂😂
One of my favourite episodes I’ve seen about 100 times. This episode I think has some of the best one liners still used in everyday Scots language now every day
Winston is my favourite character. This show is one of the best things to come out of Scotland. It’s absolutely brilliant and in my top five best ever TV shows. I’m English and I love their digs at us in the series. 😂
In Canada I have recently started watching all the series from the start for the second time on Netflx. No Canadian network ever showed it here! Not even CBC!! - PRICKS!!! A pull through with a Christmas tree! Everything with a straight face!! These guys kill me!!!
was told endlessy to watch this show by a freind and Wow what a show me and my wife loved every minute of it we binge watched all 9 seasons in 3 weeks and it is totally brilliant wish there was more must add along with Ricky Jervais 'after life' the 2 best comedys i have seen in many years (please do more)
Came across this show a few years ago on Netflix, its one of my favorite shows, ive watched it through countless times. I even have 3 still game tattoos lol. Amazing show 💯💯. Cheers from 🇨🇦🇨🇦
I asked watched all Of the series it is absolutely brilliant, I live in New Zealand originally from Wales my Kiwi friends told me about it never laughed so much in all my life brilliant brilliant brilliant but I’ve never seen the specials so thank you RU-vid
Love Isa cracks me up the last ever episode was heart wrenching watching them disappear one by one x also loved chewing the fat shame series had to end x
How is this possible? I thought I'd watched all of the episodes, several times, but I don't remember this one. Okay, housework has to wait. No choice but to watch!
This show is a brilliant example of just how funny Scottish humour can actually be and it makes me proud to be Scottish, the highlight of this episode for me is definitely Winston falling down the lift shaft lol 😂 xx
Jack and Victor aka Greg and Ford are the creators and writers and who better to play Jack and Victor than the men who created them!! I agree though that most of the rest of the cast however young or indeed auld, were just the icing on the cake…can’t stop watching it!!!❤
I learned of this program while at work in the USA, watched an episode every night at lunch time until we had gone through it's entirety. Now i watch at home, usually on a binge marathon until ice seem it all over again!!
this is a hidden gem on Netflix and it has to be one of my fav things ever when i was younger me and my pal would act out an episode every time i went to her house i was always jack
We, too, have recently discovered this absolutely amazing Scottish gem and we’ve binged and laughed our socks off ! You boys, and Isa, were wonderful. Love and best wishes from Nova Scotia (and Portsmouth Uk) ❤
Saw this program for the first time in 2004 when visiting the GFs family up Scotland. Honestly the best sitcom ever an a Shame it's ended. Winston by far the best character for me.
I also came across this show during the first lockdown. I think it is absolutely marvellous. So funny and heartwarming. It really cheered me up. Full marks to " Victor and Jack" for their fabulous scripts. Every character is brilliant. The banter and storylines beyond compare. I had to ration myself to about 4 a night. I am now rewatching the series. Hadn't seen this Hogmanay one on Netflix...hilarious. love love love the whole series.
I first saw these guys in Chewin’ the fat in Australia. My Scottish friend had video tapes her brother in law bought back from Scotland. Luckily, I was used to the accent and slang from my Scottish friend, and could understand them 😂 I have never laughed so much and cried at the end of the last episode. Love em.
I was caught out a belter one year staying overnight at my grannies house...It was 2.30am I stealthily made it down the stairs then along the hall made it by the stupid creepy cuckoo clock inbetween tocks through the living room and into the kitchen.....There they were on top of the fridge....My eyes lit up full tin...My favourite ones all there so stuff my pockets I go to put lid on....Clatter it fell....I woke the whole house up..Brass neck haha loved that scene when he drops lid haha.
