Only ONE MORE EPISODE of Taskmaster Season 2 remains after this one, and I couldn't even begin to predict how it's going to all play out. You recommended Taskmaster to me from my Graham Norton reactions, and I cannot tell you how much I fell in love with Mr. Davies, Alex, and the all the contestants from Season 1- and now Season 2. I think everyone gets the wrong idea about the collar that katherine brought in. It's not a shock collar, it gives off some sounds when the dog barks so the dog stops barking to listen for the sound

It could also be a scent collar, they work exactly the same as those shock collars, just not harmful

It is a scent collar that sprays a mist of liquid in the dog's face. Often it is a sour liquid.

Giving the various props animals, locations etc that are involved in a task specific names is one of my favourite little details about Taskmaster. (in this, "Patatas" the cat). Always makes me feel so happy to get the callback if that "character" is ever involved in a future task.

Where I grew up, the section of the local psychiatric hospital that dealt with the consequences of long term drug abuse, was known locally as Fraggle Rock. But as someone who by the date on your t-shirt, was at least eight when Fraggle Rock first aired, I have to admit that I loved it almost as much as The Muppets and used to watch it when I got home from dance classes on a Saturday afternoon 😊 …on a side note, did you know that The Muppets had a short section that didn’t include the guest star every episode that was shown I think everywhere except the US (but definitely in the UK) as there is more time allocated for commercials in the US than there is in the UK (and maybe other parts of the world too.

When Richard Osman mentioned health and safety, that's not him being conscientious. He's a big player in TV entertainment production, and he knows this production crew wouldn't be able to stick it somewhere that requires a proper risk assessment 😂

Oh no, I hope you're feeling better now, several days later. Watching favorite things can definitely be good medicine. Live tasks are so much fun, seeing the sass and frustration in real-time instead of artfully edited is great.

Aww thank you!! Yeah feeling better! I try to power through and will myself healthy through denial, but Marc… lol. I don’t know if you’ve seen that gif of the woman who slowly slides down the banister and dramatically collapses into a heap at the bottom of the stairs, but that’s pretty much Marc.

Sounds like the same crud our family had that lasted weeks. The coughing fits were the worst. In frustration I bought so much mucinex off Amazon that I’ve got enough for a year. It really was the only thing that worked. 2 & 1/2 weeks of that was more than enough

Eating pineapple for gentleman's relish, whilst apparently papaya for luscious lady's libations - I haven't collected sufficient data or done blind tests to support these hypothesis but can see no reason why there shouldn't be correlation in the private plantation... whatcha eat comes out in your sweat and a secretion is a secretion innit. @@DavidvsFilm the movie follows five teenagers who get mysterious crystals/coins that grant them extraordinary powers. This movie has a really good character development that is really relatable and has some good jokes. The movie is darker/more adult like than the 90s show.

Thank you!!! And OHHHH YOU ARE TEMPTING ME! You have no idea how back and forth I have gone on DBD. I am dying (pun intended) to watch that show, and I haven't yet just in case I decided to do it for the channel. So I'll be honest with you.. the biggest hangups I have right now are that 1) kinda like you said - the reactions aren't doing that well on RU-vid, and 2) between Taskmaster, needing to catch up on Game of Thrones, and movies, I'm stretched kinda thin already :( But I REALLY want to watch because it looks totally like my kind of show. I thought about also doing a live watchalong for it on Patreon or something like that. It just looks like such a fun show.

Even if you don't watch for the channel/content I highly highly recommend watching just in general, it is sooo good. This was a GREAT series, but my favorite series is 7 because I love JAMES ACASTER!!! Rarely do I laugh out loud but I always laugh out loud at James Acaster! He’s even funnier on WILTY!!! Find him! I’d love to know what you think!

Ok thank you for allowing me to clarify on this! It's nothing more than old habit going all the way back to high school. We had a Spanish teacher who was VERY expressive when she would teach us vocabulary words, and for some reason when she would say "fútbol" for soccer, we would just lose it. And ever since then, when I think of "soccer football" vs. "American football", I say it that way to differentiate. It's just me being a fool, please ignore.

@Tony2438 There are loads of sports called football. Australian football was the first to be codified. Gaelic football, American football, Canadian football, Association football (soccer), Rugby Union football, Rugby League football. And then there's the Eton Wall Game and the Eton Field Game, and Royal Shrovetide football, and Historical Florentine football, and all the others.
