3:00 height in football is less important than in basketball, which is probably obvious, but in some positions, such as GK and CB, you have to be tall (there are exceptions to the rule, of course, but usually the biggest players play in these positions)

Unrealistic expectations leed to disappointment. There won't be another Messi for 30 years just how there wasn't another Maradona for 20, most of the players considered ,,The Next Messi" had fine careers but could never be THAT good. I remember before Salah was compared to Messia and after he made his own legacy no one is comparing him to Messi anymore, now he is the first Salah instead of the new Messi

There are positions where height does matter. I can think of GK which is obvious, CB and ST are somewhat affected by height base on your play style.

@@xxxperrito7187 ? Barcelona 2009-2011, widely considered the best team ever had 3 players over 6'0 and those were the defenders. You DON'T need to be tall whatsoever if the team tactics don't demand it. For Basketball it's a MUST thought
