This is a wonderful tribute to the original sketch. You can tell throughout how in awe Enfield is being in the same scene as Corbett.

About 20 years ago, the receptionist at work put a call through from a Blackberry saleswomen... I put her through to the canteen. You have to be a certain generation to see the joke.

This was a tribute to the fork handles sketch and Ronnie barker who had passed away Ronnie barker was played by Harry Enfield behind the counter. Classic. Egg box still makes me laugh. 😂😂😂

I like the one about burning the house down , btw , if you haven't seen it , Gone Fishing with Mortimer and Whitehouse is funny , but also serious as they both contemplate being older and surviving heart problems , Bob is a novice angler , Paul is an expert , its a sort of modern take on Izaak Walton's treatise .

The store set up was in homage to the four candles sketch, except this was a grocers and the four candles was set in a hardware/general store

No, it really isn't a homage - it's two different conceptions altogether. The four candles sketch is about mishearing words - this sketch concerns the (silly) usage of established fruit denominations for modern technology. Surely you must realise that?

Nah, the iconic one was Four Candles, in the mid 1970s. This one is a much later homage to that (some time between the release of the first BlackBerry in 1999 and Ronnie Corbett's death in 2016).

I would add that Blackadder series 4 final episode is a superbly humourous and very poignant classic. The cup of coffee, Darling, is comedy gold and the final scene brings a tear to my eye every time I watch it.

Enfield is pure class, always appreciates and respects others work :) He, Vic Reeves, Eddie Izzard and Alan Rickman (pbuh) did a great version of the four Yorkshiremen from Monty Python that you might enjoy.

@@MercenaryPen Yes, it was written for _At Last the 1948 Show_ in 1967, a few years before _Monty Python._ It never appeared in the _Monty Python_ TV shows, but they started using it in their live shows in the mid 1970s. It was written by John Cleese and Graham Chapman (who were Pythons), and Tim Brooke-Taylor and Marty Feldman (who weren't).

I was once working in town and a young Asian fella asked me where the apple shop was in broken English, I directed him to the green grocer which was pretty far away, only 5 minutes later did I realize the mistake I had made, still feel bad about it to this day, true story

I still have the original PS1 and PS2 and neither ever broke down, so I have over 200 games for both consoles and they work great. Fair enough I also have a gaming pc with Steam, Uplay, Wargaming etc... but playing PS1 or PS2 games brings back such great memories.
