Those adverts are not _that_ old. South Africans don't freak out this much about these topics. Only the 1st world countries have the luxury to look for new things to be offended about. In SA, we have far worse things to deal with, and one of the ways we deal with things, is humour like this.

Many jokes and innuendos in Nandos ads are lost on someone who's not from SA. Ppl won't appreciate them as much as we do because it's akin to a inside joke. Their ads are known for being provocative and bold and you have to get it, to get it.
